1000 km in on the Nepest VELO50 during TRAKA360 and I’m still really impressed. They feel super direct and solid when you put the power down, but stay calm and comfortable on rough gravel too lespecially with the right tyre setup and pressure.

Race day Traka 360

Rolling out on the Yoeleo G21, set up with the Nepest aero wheelset and 45mm tires. Tried to keep it fast but still comfortable for what’s going to be a seriously long day in the saddle.

Pacing, fueling, and staying sharp… that’s the game today. It’s going to hurt at some point, no doubt.

Let’s see what the legs can do

Giving my amigo Manu that final push to get up the climb. Legs burning and the pace was tough, but we kept each other going and made it to the top together.

Head’s off after day one with the lads on the bikes at the Cycling Fanatics holiday camp. After a hectic stretch, it’s class to just switch off for a bit soaking up the Spanish sun, putting away some proper good food, and enjoying the craic on and off the bike. Exactly what was needed. #cyclingfanatic #mallorca by @bartmedia

Moving means cleaning… and this bag is basically a time capsule. Everything from my childhood and teenage years is in here: first festival tickets, school IDs, old watches, even my first Call of Duty case. And yes… there’s a Charizard and a Blastoise. by @bartmedia

Short recap: What a day such a fun race! My goal today was to finish safely and take no unnecessary risks. The past few weeks I’ve been dealing with some fear of crashing, so I started around P90 and dropped back a bit at first, riding cautiously. Later on, I managed to move up nicely but missed the connection with the really fast guys. Still, I’m super happy with how it went and proud of the result P61 in the 35–40 age group. A special thanks to my girlfriend, parents, and friends for making this such a memorable experience. and to @nepest_official and @yoeleo for their amazing support this year. taken in Valkenburg, Limburg, Netherlands by @bartmedia
