Surprise surprise!!! As some of you probably know, some time ago I decided to run a test print of "Lolita" in 2 larger formats (61x82 and 70x93). I got tons of messages about these because not all of you were able to get the prints at poster shows I attended recently. So... I decided to finally put some of the larger test prints up in my store.

The 4-colour 70x93 screenprints will drop on Wednesday at 7PM Warsaw time (10AM PST) in two variants - with UV varnish (applied selectively - only on the lollipop) and without it. As the test prints were printed on several different papers and it would be impossible to describe them all, the paper will be chosen randomly.

Did this mock-up cover 10 years ago. Seems pretty accurate today. Stay safe out there in NYC.

As Jaws was released 45 years ago today, I thought I could share the screenprint I created 5 years ago. The hand drawn illustration was made out of 202 solid lines and it took me about a year to get to the point I was happy enough to have it printed. Happy birthday Jaws! #Jaws45 #polishposter #movieposter #jaws by @bartoszkosowski

The new colour version of my 2017 Twin Peaks poster premieres this week!

I tested out a few different papers and colour variants and... the final result is black ink on gorgeous metallic paper that gives the poster a whole new feel.

The test prints will be available this weekend at @targirzeczyladnych . For those who cannot make it to Wroclaw, the pre-orders are available now in my store (direct links for both international and Polish orders in my bio @bartoszkosowski ).

And... finally some good news - you can use the code DAMNGOOD10 for 10% off your pre-order (valid till Friday) and... shipping to EU is back! by @bartoszkosowski

I know I’ve posted about this one a few times already, but... apparently Turandot created for @operapoznan isn’t done travelling yet.

Within the last two weeks or so I received emails informing me that Turandot has been selected for @ecuadorposterbienal , 20th International Biennial of Theatre Poster @teatrim.siemaszkowej and Jan Kiepura Theatre Music Awards @mteatr and all of these honestly made my day (or - to be precise - a few days).

The poster has already travelled around the world and picked up some pretty amazing recognition along the way: a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators in New York @soi128 , Grand Prix at @ilustrofest in Serbia, Bronze from @ktr__klub__tworcow__reklamy , plus recognition from the @booooooom Illustration Awards, @3x3mag Illustration Annual and the @hiiibrand Illustration Awards.

That makes 9 awards/distinctions for Turandot so far.

Very happy about this one - and curious to see where the poster goes next.

Wrzesień zdecydowanie nie pozwala nam zwolnić tempa! 🚀

GrafConf to jeden z naszych ulubionych wrześniowych punktów, gdzie co roku prezentujemy pełną gamę zaawansowanych tabletów Wacom. W tym roku jeden model zdecydowanie skradł show ❤️ MovinkPad Pro 14 przyciągał do naszego stoiska zarówno profesjonalistów, jak i osoby dopiero odkrywające cyfrową kreację.

Co ciekawe, organizatorzy ustawili obok siebie trzy konkurujące marki tabletów – trudno o lepszy test 😉 Bo najlepsze argumenty to te, które można wziąć do ręki i przetestować samemu. ✍️

It’s nice to look back at a project and talk about what went into making it - even if, at the time, you’re mostly just trying to make the deadline ;)

I recently had a short interview as one of the shortlisted artists for this year’s World Illustration Awards.

Being shortlisted among 200 artists from more than 4,500 entries from 80 countries was already a pretty surreal thing, so getting the chance to talk a bit about the work, the process and the ideas behind it was a really nice bonus.

Thanks to the @theaoi and @worldillustrationawards for the conversation and for putting the spotlight on the work.

The full interview is now online - link in bio.
