I have 3 cat sons of mine keeping me company tonight. Does anyone want the little one? He’s a 9 week old rescue kitten we’ve been raising for seven weeks. We would keep him, but we already have 2. by @bartthecoop

Today is the 8th anniversary of the passing of our handsome, loving son Austin. We miss him so much and think of him every day! We know he is watching over his family from the other side. We also know we will see him again someday. We love you so much Austin! by @bartthecoop

Third stage of my thumb/wrist recovery. They took my bright cast off and replaced it with this brace that I’ll wear for about 4 weeks or so. They did that so I can take it off 5 times per day and do finger and thumb stretches. I am amazed at the lack of mobility especially with my thumb! I have a long ways to go! 😔 by @bartthecoop

Second stage of my thumb joint and wrist surgery recovery. I got the huge bandage off and got a smaller and more bright hard cast. I have to wear this for 4 weeks so everything will heal properly. As you can see from the X-rays there is a lot of hardware so we can’t take any chances that things might shift. In the meantime I have this bright neon cast reminding all-including me, to be cautious.😁 What a beautiful Fall day we have today! by @bartthecoop

My latest “fun” activity was a thumb joint & wrist surgery. My third surgery in the last 18 months. I just love getting old…NOT! But, I’m sure all of this has happened at least partially to have me learn humility. In the meantime it’s pretty difficult to live without the use of my dominant right hand for the next 2 1/2 weeks. What fun! by @bartthecoop

Today Rebecca & I went to Fast Freddy’s to get my truck washed. We then went into Ike’s sandwich shop, on the premises and ran into Thurl Bailey, former Utah Jazz player. He was there signing autographs and taking photos to help promote the grand opening. Thurl was so nice and also gave us a CD! Also the sandwiches were SO GOOD! We’re definitely going back, and it will be our main sandwich shop going forward! by @bartthecoop

I saw this hanging on Maquel’s wall this past weekend. I laughed so hard because all of us don’t want to take any responsibility for consuming too many calories, right? by @bartthecoop

Today is the 7 year anniversary of our son, Austin’s passing at the age of 23. What a tragic day it was February 5th 2014! We miss our sweet, loving, charismatic, happy boy! I want all to know, that our Heavenly Father, and our Savior has greatly blessed and comforted us to reduce the pain. We experienced a handful of miraculous events that we never expected. But, they only came because we had faith and trust in our Heavenly Father’s plan. We thank all of our friends, family and Ward family for the love and support they have given us! We love you Austin! by @bartthecoop
