Today is a day of celebration! After a routine mammogram, my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in March. She quietly fought this beast and had a successful surgery followed by 20 radiation treatments. I listened to this song so many times over the last 6 months because it reflects how she always approaches tough times. She gains perspective by looking at the alternative, understanding that whatever is in front of her-it could always be worse. She wiped her own tears, picked herself up, put one foot in front of the other, drove herself to and from radiation every day, and KICKED CANCER’S ASS! She has been through so much and will continue to be the best example of strength.❤️ by @bas4769
