“If I could sit down with my 16-year-old self, what I would say…”
Firstly, Candice .. you won’t be wearing non colour matched clipin hair extensions !

But I wonder what she would say if she could sit beside me now.
Would she recognise the woman sitting in this chair?
Because life hasn’t exactly gone the way we thought it would.

There have been some really beautiful chapters..and some really fucking hard ones too.
Anxiety. Depression. Divorce. Starting over. Becoming a mum. Finding love again. Building a business from the ground up, growing a team, and spending 18 years creating something that became such a huge part of who I was.
And then making the decision to let it go.
Because sometimes you don’t realise how much of your identity is wrapped up in something until you have to say goodbye to it.
But I’m learning that starting again doesn’t mean starting from nothing.
I’m taking everything I’ve learnt with me.
The lessons. The mistakes. The people. The experiences. The good days and the really hard ones. And now I’m creating a new chapter. One that feels more aligned 🫶🏼
To let go of what you’ve known, make space for something new, and choose a life that feels more aligned with who Iam becoming.
There have been seasons where I genuinely didn’t know what the next chapter would look like.
But sitting here now, I feel proud.
Proud of the girl I was. Proud of the woman I’ve become. And proud that, despite everything, I kept going.
I’ve learnt there is so much more to be gained from connection, collaboration and cheering each other on. From sharing knowledge, joining forces, referring clients, supporting one another and growing together.
There is room for all of us.
Collaboration over comparison, connection over competition and growth over fear.

Let’s get excited because the best is yet to come 🤎

The wonderful thing about being treated by me … every treatment starts with understanding, not assuming. Because no two skins are the same, and no two journeys should be either.

After 18 years, I sold the business I built with my own two hands.
It wasn’t just a business. It was thousands of faces I’ve had the privilege of caring for, thousands of stories shared in a treatment room, and a whole chapter of who I was. Letting it go was one of the hardest and bravest things I’ve ever done.
And then… I started again. From scratch. On my own again but now at 37. 2 kids.
Not because I had to but because somewhere in the last two decades, I’d poured so much of myself into everyone else’s glow that I’d almost forgotten to tend to my own.
So this new chapter isn’t just about beauty on the outside. It’s about client journeys built slower, deeper, and more personally, real transformation, not just treatments. And it’s about me, finding my way back to myself along the way.
The most unexpected gift in all of this? The women I’ve found myself surrounded by. Not competitors. Not people in my industry at all, actually. Just brilliant, driven, big-hearted women chasing their own version of success, who’ve chosen to lift each other up instead of comparing notes.
Women who cheer the loudest, who remind me what I’m capable of and who make ambition feel like something we do together, not alone.
18 years built something beautiful. But this next chapter? This one is mine and will be EVEN better.

There are seasons of life where you feel like you’re constantly starting again… well I’m in it again.

I’m a mum to two beautiful boys, a 6-year-old and a 1-year-old and somewhere amongst the school runs, nappies, work, meals, mess, cuddles and the endless mental load… I’ve been trying to find myself again.

After 18 years of building my beauty business, building a salon, growing a team and creating something I was incredibly proud of, I made the huge decision to sell it back in July this year.

And now… I’m starting again.
Back to being a solo therapist. Back to the beginning in so many ways. Back into being completely 110 % in with my clients journey 💛
It’s exciting, but if I’m completely honest, it’s also scary.
I’ve walked through divorce, single mum. I’ve struggled with my mental health. I’ve had moments where I’ve questioned myself, my choices and whether I’m actually capable of doing it all.

And motherhood has changed me in ways I never expected. Some days I feel strong. Some days I feel completely overwhelmed and have that cry in the shower. Some days I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and other days I’m just trying to make it through.

But I keep trying.
I keep showing up.

For my boys. For myself. For the woman I know is still in there somewhere beneath the exhaustion and the responsibilities.
Maybe starting again isn’t failure.
Maybe it’s courage.

Maybe life doesn’t always go according to the plan we imagined and that’s okay.
So here I am… rebuilding, learning, growing, mothering, working, healing and trying.

Again 🤍
And if you’re in a season where you feel like you’re starting over too, I hope you know you’re not behind.
