DESIGNING WITH WHAT’S ALREADY THERE.

When we started working on Basecamp Bali, we didn’t have to look far for inspiration.
It was all around us.
The rice fields. The jungle. The natural textures and materials. And the knowledge of the people who have been building here for generations.
We wanted to design Basecamp in a way that works together with nature, rather than simply building on it.

That thinking shaped the homes, the materials and the way they sit within the landscape. It also meant working with local craftspeople, bringing their knowledge and skills into the project.

How do you build something new while strengthening what’s already there?

That’s the idea behind regeneration at Basecamp Bali.

The first villas are taking shape in the valley, and slowly, what we’ve been designing is becoming part of the landscape.

Pure magic 🐋💙

Slowly becoming Basecamp

It’s amazing to see how much can change in just a few weeks.

The villas are starting to take shape, the landscape is changing with the seasons, our craftsmen are busy with the details, and every now and then we just stop and take in the view.

Take a walk through the park and you’ll find it fully in bloom. Fruit trees are growing, our greenhouse made from recycled horticultural glass is producing vegetables and rare crops, and the herb circle is thriving.
