I wake up every morning with you heavy on my heart and constantly on my mind, Mommy. People say that as time goes by, it gets easier, but honestly, that couldn’t be further from the truth. If anything, I feel your absence more and more each day. There are moments when it hits me all over again—I have to remind myself that my Mommy isn’t here with me anymore.

But I don’t just celebrate you today. I celebrate you every single day by making sure the love, lessons, sacrifices, and values you poured into me and my children were never in vain. I carry you with me in everything I do.

I thank God for blessing me with such a beautiful woman as my mother. I thank Him for giving me you and Grandma as the examples I could look up to every day. I had a mirror in front of me my entire life—two women who showed me the kind of woman I aspire to be. Mommy, I pray that I can continue to become more like you with each passing day.

Thank you for your sacrifices. Thank you for your unconditional love. Thank you for your peace, your strength, your heart, and for always being my number one. There will never be enough words to express how much you mean to me.

So, Happy Heavenly Birthday to my beautiful Mommy. ❤️ Continue to rest peacefully in paradise, knowing that I love you more than words could ever explain. Continue to watch over me and your grandchildren and guide us from Heaven.

No more baby girl—my chocolate baby is on her way to DSU and has officially passed her Cosmetology exam! I am beyond proud of you, Bry. The sky is truly the limit❤️

As my 46th Birthday is approaching my heart ❤️ is filled with gratitude to God for the gift of still being here still learning, still growing, still evolving. Every experience has shaped me, teaching me the power of forgiveness, the depth of love, and the strength it takes to become the best version of myself. I’m especially thankful for the journey of finally learning to truly love me❤️embracing who I am with grace, patience, and compassion.
