Summer Reunion was more than an opening — it was a celebration.

A celebration of POC artists shaping Dallas through story, sound, and texture. Thank you to everyone who came through and filled the space with warmth, conversation, and joy.

Curated by @baseforyourface & @whatsgoinghahn , this show highlights emerging and established artists of color across North Texas — spanning photography, collage, ceramics, soft sculpture, printmaking, and painting.
Huge love to our DJs @fkakmoney & @dubbisdope for keeping the vibes just right.

Join us on Friday, June 13th, from 7-10 PM for the opening reception of Summer Reunion: a group show guest-curated by Dejion Duncan (aka BASEFORYOURFACE). RSVP via link in bio.

This exhibition features emerging and established artists of color based in North Texas across practices of photography, collage, soft sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, and painting. Summer Reunion is an unfiltered, untranslated recollection of summer nostalgia: of the familial relations and cross-cultural connections formed in a time and place of unspoken freedom.

Featured Artists: Adeola Elizabeth Adebayo @some.whereonvenus , Christina Hahn @whatsgoinghahn, Dakari Butler @dee.bee.darling , Dayna Dewitt @dayydewitt Dejion Duncan @baseforyourface, Emerald Maria @emeraldmariiia, Hamdi Osman @xamdl4, Jose Andres Moreno @luchascape , Kameron Walker @kameron_kreatesart , Marcus Cazares @keepmeinyourlocket , Shadcrop @shadcrop , SooMi Han @soomi_____ , Tiara Francois @tiarauniquefrancois , Tishonah Johnson @visualtothet and Willie Dave @williedave_wd

From June 13th to July 19th, Hyphen Space offers a window into the Dallas art scene through Dejion Duncan’s eyes. Co-Curated by Dejion Duncan and Christina Hahn. taken in Dallas, Texas by @baseforyourface

🔥 📍Dallas, TX – Juneteenth Weekend

Out of the heart of Dallas comes a recipe:

🥁 Rhythms of Chicago
🎺 The language of Louisiana
🔊 The flavor of Texas

Mixed at a rapid pace, this one’s for the heads who lined up at the juke before it was called a warehouse.
We gather.

A Saturday night ritual of dance, communion, and retooling —
