Getting better doesn’t come from just doing more jumps. It comes from fixing small mistakes, building solid habits, and making good decisions when things don’t go as planned. Most new jumpers don’t need more volume. They need honest feedback, and a clear path build around where they actually are. If you’re serious about progressing the right way, make sure your coach, or mentor, will hold you to a real standard. That’s how you’ll build longevity. #baseguiding #twinfallsidaho #learnfromme #illmakeyouawesome #yourpace #yourgoals #yourpath taken in Twin Falls, Idaho by @basegear

I didn’t start BASE Gear to sell equipment. I started it because I didn’t want to owe my opinion to anyone. When you’re new, it’s hard to see the difference between advice and marketing. When you’ve been around long enough, you can’t unsee it. Most people in the industry are good people. Most companies make good products. But when someone is tied to one brand, their world narrows — even if they don’t realize it. My responsibility is to the jumper in front of me. Not a sponsorship Not a discount code Not a contract If I recommend something, you’ll get the full picture — the good and the bad. #basegear #twinfallsidaho #unaffiliated #inbedwitheveryone #notcommittedtoanyone #unbiased taken in Twin Falls, Idaho by @basegear

Sometimes it’s the beauty. Sometimes it’s the humor. Sometimes it’s just to remind people why we were drawn to this in the first place. BASE is serious. But it doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. If we can’t appreciate the art in it — the movements, the landscapes, the absurdity — we miss part of what makes it meaningful. #basejumping #BASElife #movementisart #laughoutloud #teacherno1 #dontbesillyperson taken in Twin Falls, Idaho by @basegear
