102 BHS Honor Guard cadets raised just over $10,000 and counting in online donations toward the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in memory of those affected by 9/11. Basha High Medical Professions students are practicing their skills with the Pivot transfer.

While waiting for their scrubs to arrive, students stayed busy building their clinical skills by practicing the pivot transfer technique. Students worked on proper body mechanics, safety procedures, communication, and assisting a patient with a safe transfer. They are making productive use of their time while preparing for hands-on patient care in the first quarter of the school year. Hi! I am Abrielle Kerr and I am your Student Body President for the 2026-2027 school year!! I am a Senior and have been in Stugo all 4 years at Basha! My favorite part of StuGo is that they will always be my second family. I am BEYOND EXCITED to bring new and exciting events to this year and make it the best one yet. One of my top priorities is unifying Basha as a whole and ensuring everyone has a chance to be heard. Because together, we make Basha, better. 🐻

Once a Bear, always a Bear. Each year on the same day during band camp we honor member Jaxon Landfair. Jaxon's legacy is one of selflessness and service, even on the most difficult days. We had the honor of having Jaxon's parents, Jay and Jessica, come meet with BBR to tell Jaxon's story so we can continue, and honor his legacy the right way. We are incredibly thankful for their time and compassion that allows for moments like this.

The @jaxonfoundation helps fulfill the work that Jaxon wished by providing college scholarships to high school students interested in pursuing law enforcement. They are guided by the principles of Jaxon's 3 things.
1. I would care less about what other people think of me
2. I would care more about how I make other people feel
3. I would live life to the fullest

Basha High School’s Early Childhood Education CTE program is celebrating a major achievement — 100% of the Class of 2026 seniors in the program earned their national Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. Awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition, the CDA is a nationally recognized certification that prepares students for careers in early childhood education and provides pathways to employment, career advancement, and higher education.
