🫧I, SERIOUSLY, cannot believe that I got back into this account. I thought, surely, it was a lost cause. After one whole year, I still hadn't managed to let go of this account that I had poured my soul into and documented years of my life on... but I HAD given up. (I know, I know — something I am not very well known to do!) It is by PURE luck that I found my way back, and I am overjoyed to have this little time capsule of my life back in my possession.

🫧I know that some of you, especially those of you out of state, away for college, or simply without my phone number, have not seen or heard from me in a little under a year, since my account got pretty aggressively hacked in May of 2025. I have made a new account since then, which most of you have, thankfully, managed to find and keep in touch with me through, but... I could never connect with it in quite the same way I did this account. Transitions are hard for me, and starting new, even harder. While @basilbagels will still be my primary account for the purposes of getting in touch, this account will take back its purpose as my blog (as dog intended)!

🦋Do any of you have ideas for what to post on @basilbagels? I will likely transfer the name back over here and give that account its own, fresh and pretty identity. ✦˚•💛 You all have waited long enough... I introduce to you: Junebug!!! She likes parties, concerts, mini skirts, and rhinestones! She's a fox with wings like a june beetle, but really... She was named after the movie Juno! (My favorite movie of all time!) She doesn't take after her namesake by any means, but she herself is quite the fan of quirky movies and whimsical artwork, open dialogues, and sex positivity. She prefers the name Junie B with her friends, and gold is her favorite metallic till the day she dies.

✦˚•💫Junebug is my primary fursuit and my truesona! She was a premade put up for sale in the Dealer's Den back in June by, who I believe to be, a first-time maker. I was in love at first sight! I watched her bid for weeks, and upon not seeing one singular offer roll in, I decided that she was destined to be mine. Perhaps not the most financially responsible decision, but honestly one of the best decision I've ever made! I am so greatful to have miss Junie B in my life <3 She has made not just ripples, but waves in my social life, identity, and recovery. I luv my Junebug! 🐾

✦˚•💜I'm sure that some of you are curious about my whereabouts, as well as my life, since I haven't been posting. I honestly just haven't felt much up to posting, and I am so sorry you all had to miss out on so many fun updates and memories that I would've loved to have shared! Life has been hard, as often it has been, but I have hope in my heart and enough love to power a steam engine, so I know I'm bound to make it through, like I always do! I'll be happy to share more about my absence in later posts, but today is a hopeful day, and I want to keep things on a positive note. I love all of you, all of my friends, so so much! ✦˚•💫HELLO EVERYNYAN!!! It seems I have made my return! I took the last few months off of socials to allow myself the space to... Effectively manually reboot. ⚙️ I have enjoyed an—admittedly much too short—summer of adventure, community, rest, and a heap of elbow grease to get things back to the way they're supposed to be. But I'm happy to announce that I'm ready to be... seen, again! There is still much improvement to be done; I am nothing if not a work in progress, as is engrained in our nature. However, I no longer crave to hide away in my room or rest within my bathtub as if it were my coffin. I want to not just live, but to be alive. I want it to last. I want well health and poetic wonder to be pillars of my life, not bonuses. I want to be here, for whereever I am right now is the only home I'll ever know.

✦˚•🌕Expect to be seeing this face around the halls, and hopefully smiling a lot more often. No, I haven't found god or pledged myself to some shitty crash diet. This isn't that kind of salvation.
