Meet the Channel 4 News' strict, no-nonsense (but he means well) and respected news reporter, Jerry Magbanua!

He first appeared in 1987 and took his job very seriously, showing care to his colleagues especially when they're needed to go outside for reporting.

But no one knows that he's also fighting for the world against drastic changes from beings that are beyond our comprehension, until the events in 2001 that will affect his career forever.

Fun fact, that's Blaze Ranger's alias when he goes to work lol (he just wants his personal life private🧍‍♂️) He loves his job and knows how deadly it can be and he felt alive because of that fact.

(Ever since I was 11, I was really obsessed with vintage abs-cbn from the graphics, music, and the news reporters, they're all soo good I cant get it outta my head! Also the modern abs cbn too especially with the main theme of TV Patrol AUGHHHHHH So I was thinking of him being on the equivalent of The World Tonight because he's Fil-Am and can use his English for that, but lets mix it with cosmic horror because I really love the vibe of the 1994 movie "Without Warning" and I want to capture that 🥹🥹🥹🥹)

LETS NOT FORGET THIS IS A DISNEY PLANES OC WAHAHHAHA- Maybe I should separate this but damn him as a sentient helicopter makes sense too lol (bro thinks he could be in planes beyond the sky 😢😭)

open for discussion, i dont bite 😁

Meet Blaze Ranger, Blade's twin brother- wait which one? The one on the left!

This was a joke oc because me and my friend were talking about the silliness of blade having a twin brother and me being me who gets invested on new ocs... look where it went now WHAHSHSHSHS

Blaze is like the sunnier, outgoing Blade and he fancies tanning during summers- and island hopping. He really got influenced from staying in the Philippines working for the military (referencing to the AW109s in the PH)

The Rangers are Fil-Am BTW! He lives with the extended Ranger family! Because of almost living there for long, he was fluent in Bisaya (Blade knows some but he speaks mostly in English, and Blaze would help him learn more)

(chat trust this is part of the news reporter oc you wanted to see)
