POSTS STORIES REELS

Last month, I officially graduated from @iconcollective—turning a long-time dream into reality.

Since 2014, I’ve envisioned attending Icon and worked tirelessly to make it happen. The journey took time, but I truly believe I arrived at the perfect moment.

Throughout this incredible experience, I gained invaluable knowledge, formed lasting friendships, and created memories I’ll cherish forever.

A huge thank you to my mentors, peers, classmates, and new friends who made my time at Icon unforgettable. Your support and inspiration mean the world to me.

To my girlfriend—thank you for your unwavering support, patience, and for putting up with all my random production sounds this past year. I couldn’t have done it without you. 💙

Stay tuned for exciting updates on the Bassmender project, including new releases, streams, and more coming soon! by @bassmender

Icon collective. 💙

Icon Collective the school I graduated from closed their doors this Thursday unexpectedly. This was a goal of mine since high school, and I’m grateful for all of my fellow students, the instructors and everyone else I met a long the way.

During my time here I grew not only as an artist, but as a person. It gave me the community I’ve always wanted, and the space to do so. Thank you to all my instructors and mentors for guiding me along the journey to becoming the best artist I can be.

From my time at Icon Rising, to getting accepted, to making lifelong friends, finishing homework in the parking lot, to graduating and then witnessing the school closing its doors… it’s been a wild ride, in which I’ll never forget.

This school was more than just a building to me. It was a dream. Im glad I was able to finish the program before it closed. It being gone still feels so weird to me still, and I don’t think that will ever change.

To my Icon fam: don’t hesitate to reach out. Whether you want to share what you’ve been working on, collaborate, or just shoot the shit in the DM. I’ll be here.

2024 was a year of growth, learning, consistency, meaningful connections, and so much more.

As it comes to a close, I can’t help but reflect on how incredible this year has been. I’m deeply grateful for all the opportunities and experiences that came my way.

Over the past 12 months, I’ve focused on chasing my dreams and making progress toward my goals every single day. I found the direction I want to take with Bassmender, learned so much along the way, and connected with some amazing people.

Forever grateful to have my amazing girlfriend @courtneyseverydaylife to have by my side throughout all of this. 💙

Here’s to an even bigger 2025! Thanks for being part of the journey—wishing everyone an incredible New Year ahead.

2025 will be the year of branding, releases, new skills and even more growth. Thanks for sticking around. by @bassmender

I love you ❤️ by @bassmender

Update: Done with quarter 2 at @iconcollective . Passed everything with pretty good grades. I start quarter 3 tomorrow.

I am excited, and nervous. I feel like this quarter will really push me in learning new topics, and push me outside of my comfort zone. I am going to embrace it and try and grow as much as I can over the next 3-6 months, so I can provide you guys with some dope content and music.

If you’ve been here since the start, thank you.
If you’re new to the #bassfam welcome, and thank you as well.

On to the next part of this adventure. ☄️🪐👽🔭👽

Quarter 2 @iconcollective is in full force. Learning a lot of interesting stuff this quarter. This week I have to finish two songs and a movie trailer. 😅 Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that Q1 went great, I passed all my classes with good grades and I’ve been enjoying meeting and interacting with everyone I’ve met at school. by @bassmender

⚠️ BASS FAM, BIG NEWS. ⚠️

11 years ago I started the Bassmender project, and everyday I continue to grow into a better artist for you, and for myself.

As many of my fans, friends and supporters know we moved down to Los Angeles in 2020 so I can attend Icon Collective.

Plans got pushed back, covid happened, and we had to move to another apartment so that set back the timeline a bit.

However, as of Wednesday 9/27 2023 I am now an Icon Collective Music Production Program student. 🙌🔥 I start Tomorrow.

I couldn't be more excited to grow with my peers, learn from the professionals and continue to develop my sound over the next year.

Be on the lookout for sneak peaks, releases, and more coming from Bassmender.

Also shoutout to my girlfriend Courtney, for always believing in me and pushing me. I am so proud of her progress professionally since moving down here. LA was a big change and I couldn't imagine it with anyone else.

If any of my friends come to visit LA, I can show you around the campus, as well as book us studio time in professional studios, live rooms and vocal recording rooms.

To everyone that has supported me thus far, I love you. I am excited to show what I've been working on and hope to give you guys a lot more to support.

Thank you to Icon staff. Especially Sean, Russell And Mylah in helping me make this happen.

Peace & Love,
Talon. 💙
