ELECTRONIC PERSPECTIVES is OUT NOW and available for purchase today! Link in bio. After 7 years of work, I can finally share this with the world. It's been an absolute honor to design this book. From cover to cover, I meticulously combed over every pixel, striving for nothing short of perfection. I restored hundreds of historical artifacts while learning so much about the field from Tom Rhea, who I now consider to be my friend as well as my mentor and client. It's the greatest project of my life and I can't wait for everyone to see it!

From the website: Electronic Perspectives: Vintage Electronic Musical Instruments contains all of Tom Rhea’s fifty-two influential columns that were first published in Keyboard magazine from 1977-1981. This 400-page tome greatly expands on the original content with updated information and hundreds of newly restored images. Electronic Perspectives: Vintage Electronic Musical Instruments includes two CDs of unearthed recordings; spanning multiple eras of electronic music. All in a gold foil-embossed hardcover book, housed in a deluxe slipcase.

Next sunday, im excited to play at Feeding Tube records in Florence. It's a very meaningful opportunity as some of my first memories of getting into weird electronic music are tied to that store. Driving out to western MA, blasting Emeralds, dropping all my money on CAN bootlegs and early OPN vinyl. Seeing Dolphins into the Future, Wet Hair, and so many others. My musical world revolved around that shop for many years.

I will be playing a 100% generative, Music Mouse set on the old Apple Macintosh SE. Basically using that old computer to control my modular and a Roland Polysynth. It's really fun and I'm proud of this set, which was developed in collaboration with @metrowestcomputerclub

@samgascan and @scabdul will be playing as well, which is another full-circle moment, as those guys have been my weird music brothers since day one.

Thanks @soundofpot for inviting me to play. I'll have copies of my new LP, and you can bet your ass im excited to dig through the crates there again. by @bastianvoid

Initials: 2011-2017 is out on bandcamp today! Streaming services coming soon. Pre-orders for the LP will start shipping next week. Thanks to everyone who has ordered a copy so far. This music has been with me for years, and it's super gratifying to have it all collected in this one album! I consider this the definitive encapsulation of where I was artistically at this time in my life. It means so much to have a chance to polish these tracks up, and share them with the world.

Bastian Void is the Sonic the Hedgehog of new weird america. Bastian Void is riding the light monorail, crossing the grid. Bastian Void is digital chlorophyll, pastoral dust molecules, the soft hum of power lines cutting through the forest. Bastian Void is an abandoned shack, littered with leaves and overgrown with moss in an autumnal internet hologram, laptop plugged into a tree. Bastian Void is the fiber optics running through the translucent screen of the video phone in the floating hospital ship above the Neo-Tokyo arboretum. Im happy to share the flyer I made for this year's Sunset Hang at the Salem Willows park in Salem, MA. Even happier to announce that I'll be performing with my good friend @acampbellpayne

💾 We are debuting a new collaboration that we've dubbed the Metro West Computer Club. This project is 100% sequenced and performed with vintage computers and esoteric software, such as ORCA and Laurie Spiegel's Music Mouse. In my case, I'll be using a Macintosh SE to control my modular synth and some legendary Roland gear. 💾

The last time I played the Sunset Hang it was absolutely beautiful. It's a family-friendly event with ambient music in a gorgeous park right on the ocean in Salem. It's an honor to be asked back. Thanks @skotvoid for organizing the event every year! taken in Salem Willows by @bastianvoid

Big one coming up at the Vernon next Sunday (6.21.26). Ill be holding down local support duty along with my pals in Signal Chain. Neptune are noise legends, and There features an Ex-Arab on Radar member. Both bands really pushed the limits back when I was a teenager, so its pretty strange to be on a bill with them! The last show we did at the Vernon was a great night and definitely revitalized my appreciation of that place. taken in Worcester, Massachusetts by @bastianvoid
