LITTLE SISTER. Between 2009 and 2012, I created this series of objects called 'I am furniture' and 'little sister' was the first. This little pink electric heater questions 'what is a piece of furniture?'. As curator David Rosenberg put it, "these strange objects tend to erase the frontiers between machine, sculpture and furniture.” (photo’s by Rene van der Hulst) #sculpture #basvanraay #pink #electricheater #furniture by @basvanraay

I look back on a heartwarming opening last week of my solo exhibition 'At spirit level' @covagallery. I would still like to thank everyone who could attend, for the fine, fun and in-depth conversations and interest in the work. For those still looking for inspiration and haven't been yet, during the @ddw in Eindhoven, the gallery is still open this whole week! This thursday 26th October between 4-6pm there will also be a Q&A, you are most welcome! #conceptualart #contemporaryart #minimalism #galleryopening #heartwarming photo’s by @chloealyshea by @basvanraay
