I don’t think this is as niche an experience as I’d like to believe. Yesterday at the gym this song came on & all I could think about were the countless hours I spent as a teenager creating the best “feeling” playlist possible to be used for hours of hula hooping & shuffling on the weekends. Fun times for teenage me - not so much for adult me, but that’s okay. I’m glad there’s more scientifically backed literature about this substance available now a days. Back in the 2010s you were at the mercy of forum boards & “trust me bro” facts online.
In any event it still amuses me that electro-swing is now like gamer music for Gen Z/gen alpha? Idk. by @bat.b0y

I could do a story time video on my personal relationship with EDM music & how it was influenced by social media/internet culture in the 2000s & 2010s, but here’s a very brief explanation of my electro-swing exposure. If you were rolling in the 2010s- the music selection was uh… interesting. Especially if you under 18.
