Can’t go wrong with books, coffee, and dessert ☕️🍨

I stopped by @vampirepenguincafe and @batbrew and had a lovely experience. Almost feels like you walked straight into Howard’s during Halloween. Great desserts and great coffee!

Meet Brittany, @batbrew ‘s new barista. We only hired her because she’s cute (jokes) but turns out she’s actually good at her job too. Brittany is changing our coffee game with her experience and love for all things coffee.

She’s taking over, but we’re cool with it. This place is now hers. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We have a passion for all writers, but especially indie authors which is why we only sell their works in our store. We are in the process of expanding and opening more stores which means more shelves and more featured indie authors!

If you or someone you know wants to sell your books at our stores, comment below. Please note that we keep our selection as family-friendly as possible. If a child were to pick up a book, we want to make sure their innocence is protected.

(Menu pics at the end of the video) Did you know that from 8 am - 3 pm, Monday- Saturday, Vampire Penguin Lakeland transforms into Bat Brew Coffee?

The vibes continue to be amazing (and really are the stuff this former goth girl’s dreams are made of 🤩). They have a really cool, unique menu, and I even stayed and got some work done and it was super cozy and inviting. I tried the butter brew iced latte and a honey pistachio croissant and both were delicious! They also shared that soon they will have some unique offerings from Honeycomb Bread, which is super exciting!

Located in Downtown Lakeland at 216 E Pine St, Lakeland, FL 33801.
