What a lovely weekend at The Roman Baths ❤️

Friday, Pete from Ishmael Ensemble took us on a proper deep dive through his influences and record collection. Then last night Tina Edwards filled the Baths with spiritual jazz, soul and Latin sounds. Two brilliant selectors and such a pleasure to host.

Also, loved hearing the immersive sound setup, devised by Polymathic, really getting put through its paces - loads of different sounds and styles this weekend and it all sounded beautiful in the space.

Next up: @poly_ritmo and the @houseofhismajesty Community DJs. Can’t wait ⭐🌞 taken in The Roman Baths by @bathcarnival

The first two weekends of Summer Lates have been nothing short of magical. ✨

Beautiful music, an incredible atmosphere, and on Friday evening we even witnessed a proposal in the Main Baths... she said yes. 💍

A huge thank you to everyone who's joined us so far, and to our guest selectors for bringing such an eclectic and thoughtful soundtrack to this extraordinary setting. And special shout-out to @polymathic_uk for creating an amazing audio experience in a challenging environment 💪

This weekend we're delighted to welcome @lauren_beavis and @awon78 with @stubacana hosting throughout.

The Summer Lates vinyl sessions continue every Friday and Saturday until the end of the month - with live acoustic acts on Sundays courtesy of @the7hillsfest and @bathartscollective 💙

Come and spend an evening soaking up the golden hour in one of the most unique spaces in the country.

Excited for the return of Summer Lates at the Roman Baths 🌅🎶

Over the next six weekends, a wonderful mix of guest selectors will soundtrack summer evenings at this incredible heritage site - with a laid-back blend spanning jazz, soul, Latin, reggae, boogie and ambient sounds.

Come soak up the evening sun, music and one of Bath’s most beautiful backdrops.

A big thank you to @polymathic_uk for helping create a fantastic audio setup for the Friday & Sunday series, and to @theromanbaths team, @bathartscollective and @the7hillsfest for partnering on the wider programming and project management ✨💗

The official Bath Carnival Aftermovie is here. 🎉

Before you hit play, we have one important ask...

❤️ Please help us reach our fundraising target. ❤️

Bath Carnival isn't just one incredible day each year. It's the culmination of months of community workshops, creativity, collaboration, and opportunities that bring people together. To keep those projects thriving and make next year's carnival possible, we still need your support.

✨ If you can, please donate via the link in our bio. Every donation (big or small) helps us continue creating free, inclusive community arts projects across Bath.✨

Now, onto the celebrations...

Thank you to our amazing festival and parade performers, artists, volunteers, sponsors, partners, local businesses, crew, and every single person who joined us. Bath Carnival only happens because of the passion, generosity, and commitment of so many people.

A special thank you to everyone who looked after one another during the heat. You made the day safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

This aftermovie captures just a glimpse of what we created together. Thank you for being part of it, and for helping us build an even brighter future for Bath Carnival.

🎥 Watch, share, and if you're able, please donate via the link in our bio. Every contribution helps keep the carnival spirit alive.

Well… that was pretty special 💛🎉

Before the thank yous, two quick asks while the Carnival spirit is still high in Bath…

💛 DONATE

We’re still short of our fundraising target. If you can help keep this special community project alive in Bath, please donate via the link in our bio. Every contribution makes a difference.

📝 SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE

Our quick survey takes just a couple of minutes. Your answers help us show the real impact Carnival has on Bath - and keep it thriving for years to come. Link in bio.

Now… THANK YOU ❤️

To every performer, artist and crew member who created that incredible spectacle in some serious heat - you were amazing 🔥

Extra love to our setup and packdown crews. The hidden heroes who put in the hours, sweat and hard graft behind the scenes 🙌

To our sponsors and supporters - this simply doesn't happen without you. The memories, connections and inspiration created on Saturday are all made possible by your generosity and community spirit 💛

And finally… BATH 🎉

You brought the energy. You embraced Carnival. You looked after each other. You filled the streets and Sydney Gardens with joy.

Our community work continues all year round. Please stay with us, support us and be part of it 💛

THANK YOU, BATH ❤️🎉

🎥 Official aftermovie and photography coming soon…

In the meantime, here are a few highlights captured by the lovely Flo Cooper 📸💛
