Bath City Women's first team will reach a milestone on Sunday as we kick off against Stockwood Wanderers Women at 2pm at the Cannon Clarke Stadium @ Twerton Park. To mark the occasion entry is free for everyone. Andrew Stalbow said; "We are very proud of our women's teams, and itโ€™s important we work hard to grow attendances for our matches. Reaching 100 games since starting in 2022 deserves celebrating so that is why we're making entry to Sunday's match free. The team are coming into the match off back-to-back wins, so let's get a big crowd along to support them as we look to make it three in a row." Charlie's Bar will be open before the game from 1pm and Romans bar is open during the game. Kick-off is 2pm โšซโšช #Romans by @bathcityfc

He will lead the clubโ€™s strategic partnerships across sponsorship, kit, merchandise and technology. Andrew Stalbow, Executive Chair, Bath City Football Club, said: โ€œWhen I first met Alex, he made it clear he wanted to help unlock Bath Cityโ€™s potential. His interest in sports technology, AI and fan engagement, combined with his warmth, intelligence and knowledge of the game, makes him uniquely placed to lead our partnership strategy. โ€œAlex brings a rare breadth of experience: more than 470 professional appearances and 97 goals across 14 clubs, his work as a Venture Partner at the Players Fund, BBC radio commentary, and the PFAโ€™s Football Business Management course. โ€œHeโ€™ll continue as part of the first-team squad as he steps into the role, giving both existing and new partners the chance to get even closer to the club as we work to realise our ambitions together.โ€ Fisherโ€™s footballing career has seen him play for many clubs in the South West but he has also had spells in Europe before joining Bath City in 2024. Speaking on his appointment, he said: โ€œIโ€™m thrilled to have this opportunity and motivated to play an important part in helping the club reach its potential, alongside Andrew, the board and the investor group. Iโ€™m excited to work with community and club partners who not only share our vision but can help shape it.โ€ Alex has recently undertaken two courses with the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) Business School to prepare him for life after playing.
