Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by the Batiksould Guitars booth at Sound Messe Japan 2025 this May!

It was our first time bringing our instruments to Japan, and we couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. From the moment the doors opened, the room was buzzing with creativity, curiosity, and some seriously good vibes.

Meeting players from all over the world, hearing your stories, watching you connect with our guitars, that’s what it’s all about.

Japan, you were unforgettable. Until next time.

Tohpati with his acoustic guitar during an intimate concert at Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta, on September 11, 2026.

On July 25, 2026, @tohpati Tohpati Ethnomission released their third album, Barong, marking their return to the recording scene after a decade-long break from releasing a full-length album.

Barong features tracks such as “Jiwanta,” “Papua Dreams,” “Srikandi,” “Hunter,” and “Dahayu,” blending Indonesian ethnic influences with modern jazz.

A beautiful night of music..
