Machu Picchu - we made it!! 4 days trekking through the Andes and the Amazon, 13,828 ft high summit at Dead Woman’s Pass, ice cold showers, blisters, and the view from the top was 100% worth it. More pics to come later. What an incredible adventure. #TeamCondorPumas #MachuPicchu #Peru taken in Machu Piccho, Cusco, Peru by @batqueenchey

I’ve been waiting a long time to say this… my dog is RANKED! 🤎

I’m so grateful for this gym, this community, and everything I’ve learned along the way. @cafefifthpgh said it perfectly - it’s not about the belt but about what this sport does for you. I know, for me, it’s made me a much better woman. I hope it’s made me a better friend and a better family member. But I know for sure the sweat we leave in this room pours right back into us as people and I love the people on this ride with me very much. 🤎 taken in The Mat Factory Wrestling Club by @batqueenchey

Another successful Cash Bash! Every year, this event makes me incredibly grateful for the group of women the shelter has brought into my life. These ladies put so much of their heart into helping animals, and I’m glad to be a part of it. A little neon, a lot of hairspray, and a lot of love for a good cause. 🩷⚡️📼🛼🐾 Swipe for adoptables! taken in Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley by @batqueenchey

Summer dump! I had a really fun summer. My hoomans got married. I met a pierogi. I went to the Amish country. I spent lots of time with friends. My mom got a new Jeep for us to take adventures in. I also chased lots of squirrels, splashed in lots of creeks, and climbed lots of trees. Oh, and I did steal some socks. Swipe for me in no pupparazzi mode.

Requesting foster for this sweet gal…. Tato….. she really does not love being in the kennel. She’s very scared and would really thrive in a foster home. Cheyenne Hall Dempsey Chris Dempsey by @batqueenchey

Happy birthday to my HUSBAND! 🤍 There’s no one else I’d rather have as my forever adventure buddy. We’ve already managed to pack a whole lot of life into our years together and I can’t wait to see where this next year takes us. Here’s to another year of traveling, training, laughing, and new memories that we will get to keep forever. I love you! taken in Scotland, United Kingdom by @batqueenchey

You have to start saying yes to the things that make you nervous.

When an opportunity arises that tests your abilities or pushes your limits, your first instinct might be to back down. Ignore that instinct. Sign up, commit, and figure it out along the way. You know deep down what you are capable of, so stop letting a momentary wave of doubt rob you of your potential. Bet on yourself and just say yes.

How many times have you looked at a challenge and told yourself you couldn’t do it?

We are so quick to count ourselves out before we even try. Cheyenne (@batqueenchey) had that exact same thought before her first cage fight, but she stepped in anyway and walked out with a win. Stop letting fear dictate your limits. Take the leap, do the thing that scares you, and you might just realize you were built for it all along.
