Such a great night at the Birdies and Branding event put on by @rozay_golf supporting @firstteeutah ! It was awesome to see the homies, meet people in person from Instagram and make new connections. The wife and I had an amazing night and even came home with some absolutely awesome prizes. If you haven’t checked out @rozay_golf you need to. Their facility is top notch, they have an amazing practice green, gym and some of the nicest sim bays in Utah! Make sure to give them a follow and go check out their facility I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thanks to Alex and Lauren for putting together a great event!

This is one of my closest friends and they are struggling. If you can help them in anyway I promise they would be beyond grateful. Here is their story:

Hi, we are the Matts-Jared, Kailee, Gideon, Harper, and Indee.

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of restoring our home and the ongoing medical expenses for our mom.

Six and a half years ago, we bought our home, excited to build a life together.

Not long after moving in, Mom began experiencing a long list of unexplained symptoms, including seizures and eventually becoming too weak to stand for long periods. After months of searching for answers, we discovered she was suffering from toxic mold exposure.

We made the difficult decision to move into Grandma’s home while Dad, with help from each of us, took on the enormous task of rebuilding our house. Down to the studs, he poured his blood, sweat, tears, and countless hours into creating a safe home for our family—all without any assistance from insurance. It was a labor of love, built on determination, hope, and an unwavering commitment to his family.

After two years back in our restored home, just as we felt we were finally beginning to move forward, Mom’s health began declining again.

She is now facing additional diagnoses, including mold illness, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), Lyme disease, and several co-infections. The road to recovery is long, and the medical costs continue to grow.

Then, last month, our hearts sank when we woke to a failed kitchen water line. Within hours, inches of water had flooded our kitchen and main living areas before making its way into the basement, threatening everything we had worked so hard to rebuild.

As we face another season of restoration-both for our home and for Mom’s health—we are asking for help. Whether through a donation, sharing our fundraiser, or simply keeping our family in your prayers, every act of kindness means more than we can express.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for standing with our family during this chapter. We remain hopeful that, with the support of our community, brighter days are ahead.
