Taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your physical health. Small steps every day can make a big difference in how you feel:

Be kind to yourself: Practice self-compassion—you’re doing the best you can.

Unplug: Take a break from screens and step outside for some fresh air.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11th, the Battle Paws Foundation pauses to remember and honor the lives lost on that fateful day. We carry the memory of the victims, the brave first responders, and the heroic search-and-rescue animals who served selflessly in the hours and days that followed.
Their courage, sacrifice, and resilience will forever inspire our mission. We remain dedicated to supporting those who serve and protecting the bonds that bring us strength in our darkest moments.

⛳ Bridging the Gap, One Hole at a Time🐶

We are honored to share that the Battle Paws Foundation recently sponsored a hole at the 2026 Veteran Suicide Awareness Golf Outing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa!

Our very own Secretary, Anthony Novak, hit the green to represent Battle Paws and participate in this powerful event.

This golf outing was about so much more than just raising funds for incredible organizations—it created a space where veterans and civilians could stand side-by-side.

When veterans leave the military, finding that same sense of community and connection can be one of the toughest challenges. Events like this take us one step closer to bridging the gap between veterans and civilians, restoring the camaraderie that so many miss after their service.

A huge thank you to the organizers, players, and everyone who came together to raise awareness and support veteran mental health. Together, we ensure no hero stands alone.

Take a break from the 60 mile yard sale on route 7 and stop in for lunch or dinner at yhe Brookfield Fire Hall. Check out all the amazing raffle items, the delicious homemade baked goods, and of course have some spaghetti and popcorn!

$10 kids 6-10
Kids 5 and under are Free
$5 Veterans and First Responders with ID or in uniform

Free Lemonade and Coffee, all pop and bottled water are for donations

$20 for 25 BLUE tickets + 1 Door Prize ticket
$10 for 1 50/50 ticket

The big day is TOMORROW!! Stop by the Brookfield Fire Hall in Brookfield, Ohio on Saturday September 5th 12pm-6pm for our first Battle Paws Foundation Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser!!
Hope you are able to stop by and check out all the amazing raffle items, delicious homemade baked goods, and of course have some spaghetti and meatballs. We will also have a limited supply of Battle Paws T-shirts available for a $20 donation.
