In the swamps of lost souls,
Guards the light-
Of the engulfing ghouls.

Comes the red moon-
a treacherous night,
Only a Raven-
Hideously dressed and decorated;
Crushing the brittles spines- a true born;
Of The Dark Knight.

...when inks gets spilled by BattleofInks.

For this prompt Dice, I chose an episode that changed history and a big turning point for mankind.

An episode from the epic tales of Mahabharat, which is also manuscripted in the sacred book of Bhagvad Gita - the game of Chausar, played among the great Pandavs and the Kauravs. A fate changing game, a game where the Pandavs ( Yudhishthir, Bheem, Arjuna, Nakul and Sahadev with their wife Draupadi) lost everything - not only wealth but the dignity and respect was stripped off from them and became the cause of the greatest war of Kurukshetra.

( Nothing to do with religion - it's just a plan of Karma and destiny.)
The shlok/phrase from Bhagvad Gita which describes this epic event from Chapter 10, Verse 36.

Dyūtam chalayatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham;
Jayo 'smi vyavasāyo 'smi sattvavattam aham ||

TRANSLATION: " Of all games of deceit/ chance, I am gambling ( the dice game ). I am the splendor of the splendid, I am victory, I am resolve and I am the virtue of the virtuous. "

By saying - " Amongst the fraudulent, I am the dice game, " - He is explaining that in a game where everything is dictated by fate, chance and unpredictability - factors human cannot control - He is that ultimate factor of destiny.
Just as Shakuni's dice rolls entirely transformed the fate of Pandavs, Krishna reminds Arjuna that the supreme cosmic law ( Karma and Destiny) governs all unexpected outcomes.

( P.S. : If any mistakes to be found in the shloka or the translation of it - the whole context of this event, shloka and translation is taken from the internet, courtesy of Google and gemini 😜 for the information, you may thrash them - this illustration is purely to depict the event in a small summary.)
THANK YOU FOR READING ❤️😍

And special credits to dear friend and to the amazing artist @happinessforever03 - whose guidance with story telling of the event and the elements helped me to create this illustration.

Been grand days of tick-tock;
And timely ding-dongs,
Highly decorated stature- once -
Now, scrabbled under webs and worms;
Like an open chest,
Lies the story of this legendary clock-
Now in company of rodents and feasting flock.
Still, it beats with the wonky springs,
Scares the most, when it rings.

There are days,to-
choose from.
What you want to hold on to-
- preparing to create a moment,
Or defend oneself for the later.
Choice will always be difficult -
- difficult enough, to bore scars forever.
...

Present day we still do the same, just visuals are different, it's just no blades anymore - it can be your silence or way to make peace.. ..a little parody of expressions with Battleofinks.

Another chance to design a tribute to one of the most legendary game characters of all time.. a lineage of eras that never fades out, best of the assassins - ASSASSIN'S CREED. when I read the prompt Dive, it had to be the Leap of Faith, one of the best cinematic and gameplay experience ever that made a mark in gaming history.

Every breath till I go,
And even after I am gone,
The strings will stay attached -
to the rhythms i breathed from dusk till dawn.
If lights betray me,
I shall hymn at the nights- with
Dead silence and only whispering sights.

Music knows no bounds and limits,
Every soul and even stone is stirred up.
And my inks gets choreographed by its beats at Battleofinks.

Some things are just too simple-
And yet the farthest to reach.
A moment- that you cherish,
Breathe easy, sipping through times;
Filling the lungs with memories -
Not foggy but misty- a road that you belong on.
Or a simple moment can be a tornado
- of lost feelings.
Nothing else matters-
But to find that moment.

...a little of dreams with reality at Battleofinks.

Here comes the princess' carriage,
Rattling on the cobbled roads.
On a moonless night -
the clock rang with echoes ..

The driver, rings the summoning bell-
Marking His arrival and ending time for the magical spell.
" It's better to wander off -
Before the beauty reveals it's dark secrets,
And the prince breaks down like
the shattered pieces of shining crystals. "

A little dark nights with ticking stories with Battleofinks.

Is the light -
Or the burning flame,
Sway in its elegance ?
Or is the beauty-
That is seen in its sacrifice ?
Burning, and the warmth -
Of it; moulding to create,
Something new - can be elegant?

Dying to light others, blinding - path;
...seems like the most Elegant
way to leave.. smiling and swaying
..to its own rhythm...

(.. a little light, dance, create and become a memory with Battleofinks)

The loose screws,
Navigate through the spongy maze-
Nail it - screw it, whatever it may needs.
This bug is wished ; to debug -
and let the brain think right. 😜
