5k3u Border Clash between Fed Suns & Lyran Guard

Templar III OD & Victor 12D kept back at range sniping the Lyran brawlers whilst the Javelin 12N ran interdiction.

Awful aim meant little hit the incoming Zeus 9WD whilst the Thanatos 4T was untouched when it entered close range.

The Wolfhound 5 skirted the edges trying to get rear angles but was effectively tailed by the Javelin slowly chipping away at its armour.

By turn 3, the Templar had a leg destroyed and hit the deck, its final action an alpha strike that caused an ammo explosion to rip through the Zeus' right torso. The pilot went unconscious but survived the fall whilst the Templar was completely annihilated in return.

Quick little two hour game against the Aces.

Draconis Reach gameday: Le Blanc successfully defended against DCMS mercs by the Fed Sun's hired lapdogs.

Multiple tables on the go at @backtogames as two new mercenary units entered the Reach. DumbFire and Dragon Fang joined existing units to fight through the Le Blanc contract.

A raid on important infrastructure followed immediately by a further strike or pursuit back to the dropship depending on the outcome.

Great games, lots of salvage and the cities left (relatively) intact!

Core ruleset clash in the Clan Invasion era - classic 6k Clan vs Inner Sphere battle.

Mission : Sensor Check
Outcome: 6-3 win for the Clanners.
Superior speed (and scanning technology) helped the greens secure the win on victory points!

Highlights:
- Phoenix Hawk taking out every torso crit slot of the Mad Cat from the rear except gyro and third engine slot.
- 7 out of 8 Dasher lasers landing into the rear arc of a Longbow, 90% hitting the legs
- Phoenix Hawk falling over on a missed kick of 4+.
- Mad Cat owner discovering cLRMs have no minimum range and unleashing hell.
- Orion fleeing the board with a measily 1VP and no armor left.

Lots of fun, lots of laughs, a great game, close up to the wire and could have so easily swung either way!

Draconis Reach Day!
"That was the best game I've had in a long time!" -Adam

Four Mercenary Commands were formed and despatched to the deserts of Dahar IV to settle a feud.

An offshoot of the Northwind Highlanders, Brawler Bros LLC, McKenzie’s Highlanders and a Kuritan shadow organisation all descended to scout, flank and then assault each other over the course of a contract. Three sorties in four hours and a victory for Felix Kurita’s proxy forces!

Highlights:
- Sandstorms ravaged nearly every track, leaving short range punch-ups the most viable option.
- BBL picked up a Hatchetman 6D then nearly bankrupted themselves.
- A Hunchback IIC survived all three tracks despite multiple head hits.
- Sinkholes nearly cost Mckenzie’s Highlanders a Stormcrow, it managed to barely escape the recon track by just 1MP through a convoluted canyon route, narrowly missing a Gargoyle K and waiting depth six pits.

Just a great day of Battletech with friends old and new @backtogames Abu Dhabi.

More Star League era action!

FWL 1st Regular Hussars ambushing a mixed Davion force.

Trebuchet 3C got banged up early by a pair of medium mechs so it's Longbow lancemate waded in whilst the Flashman 8K tried to hold off both a Thunderbolt and Victor on the flanks.

Star League era: Focal Point

Lyran forces sporting a state-of-the-art Command Console Battlemaster alongside a primative Commando and a 2N Griffin fought to secure a data relay from a mixed Kuritan force.

The Combine started strong pushing forward and harassing the Battlemaster with rear attacks but a gyro TAC and subsequent stomp through the chest took out the Firestarter whilst the Griffin managed to land a PPC blast to the Locust taking out it's entire side torso. From there, the Assault mech methodically ground down the DCMS forces until they conceded the relay objective.

🏆 Solaris VII - Steiner Stadium Championship 🏆

Quick little 2000bv free-for-all at @ad.wargaming earlier this summer.

Griffin 4R took a disco ball of medium lasers from a Flashman 9M in the third turn after hiding and fleeing from the Thanatos 4T, the first victim of the game.

An Axman came in swinging, managing to take out the left leg of the Flashman with its LB-X 20 Autocannon before succumbing to the Thanatos too.

With the Flashman pilot knocked unconscious, it was a clear victory for Dima's Thanatos!

If you've not tried the Steiner Stadium's random walls before, it's well worth a go. Quick and dirty Battletech action!
