Opening Up (2/3) - The People We Were

This revue was a precious opportunity to be so many different things/people. Every one of these had a beautiful truth to it. Some of those:

1. Being Norma was so gratifying. “This world’s waited long enough, I’ve come home at last!”
2. Being Laurens was so fun. And the eyebrow does what it does.
3. Woman 1 from Songs for a New World. Performing this song was a healing ritual.
4. Sarah, with my Coalhouse @blakecruz . Wheels of a Dream in a revue is a snapshot of hope that will forever stay in my heart.
5. Two different moms in this show. Prudy, with my lovely Penny @emys.orbit
6. More Norma. Just because.
7. More Woman 1. Also just because. by @baty.a

Opening Up (1/3) - The Moments We Shared

Opening Up with @stagedinkuwait with the most wonderful people anyone could ask for, directed by the wonderful @almullaky ❤️

1. The whole gang, doing some Waitress. My fellow waitresses @bridgetinq8 and @izzyvancity are superstars.
2. My Shot, some of the most fun I’ve ever had on a stage. Shout out to my Hamilton @wahabiswahab !!
3. The Hamilton gang, such a blast. Izzy, Wahab, and @sultanalkazmi , I love y’all.
4. On stage with my twin flame @katsmusic8 , what a dream come true.
5. Stage lights, my beloved. Don't think I could ever tire of them.
6. Hard not to break when your on-stage daughter is a whole cutie pie.

took me like a year and a half of showing up to sing in front of folks, and slowly getting the stomach to do it without pooping my pants

first heard this song when @goodth_ngs and @layal.mp3 played it and have been obsessed since.
