Me telling the girls that BAUCE HAUS is back 😭

Our event is happening on Friday, November 6 in NYC, and I’m so excited about this one. If you’re a Black woman building a business, this day is for you.

We start with the Founders Intensive from 12 to 5 at The Yard in Herald Square. You’ll learn from experienced black women entrepreneurs who have scaled their businesses to 7-figures and hear about the tools and strategies that can get you unstuck. You’ll also receive a 30-minute strategy call with one of our experts, and we’ll match you with other founders after the event so the connections don’t end when the day does.

Can’t get off work? Come after! Our networking party kicks off at 6pm, where you'll have the opportunity to broaden your network, hear from our special guest, and dine and sip with delight! I care about creating impactful events and I promise you’ll leave with at least ONE new contact in your phone! ❤️

The intensive is limited to 50 founders, so grab your seat at baucehaus.com (link in bio). Tag a friend a below that you know needs to be in the room and I'll send them a special discount! 👇🏾

She spent 20 years gracing the pages of Vogue, Lucky Magazine, and Essence — then walked away from it all. 🙌🏾

Kim Baker didn't just leave modeling. She rebuilt herself from the ground up, becoming a celebrity makeup artist to Tom Cruise, Toni Braxton, Tiffany Haddish, and John Legend — and then launched her own brand, Glamazon Beauty, to make sure women of color finally had foundations made for them.

Her story is proof that it's never too late to pivot into the career you actually want.

Drop a 💄 if you've ever felt called to start over!

As businesses grow, the questions tend to change:

- What are we actually building toward?
- What should the business be able to carry without me?
- Which opportunities are worth pursuing — and which are simply available?
- What does success look like beyond revenue?

That’s why I appreciated being included in BAUCE’s What Drives Today’s Most Impactful
Black Founders, exploring the purpose and motivations behind what we build.

There isn’t one definition of a successful business and I think that’s what makes the conversation interesting.

Has your definition of success changed as you’ve grown?

Courtney Adeleye (@courtneyadeleye) started with $500 and a YouTube channel. She built a $100 million brand. Sold it. And then went and did it AGAIN. 👑💰

Courtney isn't just a success story, she's a whole masterclass. From creating The Mane Choice in her kitchen to landing Watch & Sea in Walmart, Target, AND CVS, she's now the first Black woman to have two separate hair care brands at that scale of retail distribution.

And her advice? Build your business to be sellable, even if you never plan to sell. That's how you turn a passion into a legacy. 🙌🏾

Drop a 💸 if you're building something bigger than yourself!
