Before & After of our 3-6 month highlight retouch 🙌 Used 15 vol on roots and 5 vol on mids to ends to refresh and remove any demarcation lines from the previous highlights. Toned with lazio on the root and sorrento vanilla on the ends to reduce brassy tones. Take a look at the before and after 💜

- In the before picture you can see her beautiful natural hair color at the root then an orangey broken base and previous highlighted ends

- In the after picture you can see the brightness and dimension I gave her. I broke up and blended the old brassy color while keeping her natural root.

Finally we began the blow dry 💜

- My clients hair is naturally straight so to give her some movement and volume I began with Loud and Proud volumizing foam on the roots and Bonding time leave-in on ends.

- When blow drying I like to add tension and work my way around the section making sure my roots are dry and frizz free before I continue with the rest of the hair.

Time for the Light works toning glaze, this step helps provide Harmony by neutralizing brassiness or enhancing warm tones.

-I began by applying Lazio toner to the root area quickly to target any remaining orange tones. Lazio cool toffee targets levels 6-7

-On the mid and ends of the hair I applied the Sorrento vanilla Toning glaze for any yellow tones exposed . Sorrento Vanilla targets levels 8-10.

Once the foils looked blonde enough, it was time to remove the foils.

- next I mixed beyond blonde with 5v to apply on the rest of the hair that had any orange/gold exposed for a more even lift.

- Left this on for about 5 min while I mixed my Toning Glaze.

- Then rinsed with Bonding shampoo and conditioner.

My Client is previously blonde on the ends with grown out roots. Her Goal was to break up the brass and be as blonde as possible while maintaining the integrity of her hair.

- Above you can see how I applied the lightener.

- I like to fan side to side to ensure saturation.

- She had no grays so we decided to keep her natural root color to decrease maintenance and brass.

- I also did not apply lightener all the way down.

-I used beyond blonde with 20 v close to the root with out touching the previously lightened ends.

- I left her ends out and folded the foil softly to ensure no creases.
