Mind to Motion v14 💎

Wow. This climb is so perfect in so many ways. It fits me so well, a power endurance bloc with wide compression with, hard tension, and technical heel hooks. It’s both very powerful and delicate at the same time. Also, it’s on a very beautiful area just outside of Estes Park on the edge of the hills and mountains. These components put it as an amazing new hardest and possible new favorite ever.

I first saw this climb a couple years ago when I went out to try it with Beckett. I had a blast on it but it was a bit out of reach sadly. I noted it as impossible at the time but kept it on my radar. This year and the fall of 2025 I have been pretty psyched on hard outdoor projecting. I had just done my first v13 over the summer and was getting a lot stronger so I decided to try to push my limits more. Mind to Motion was one of top climbs on my list so I decided to check it out again. This time I could reach everything and it felt super good. So I decided to start projecting it.

Progress on the boulder was a bit confusing and at points frustrating. I did every move but one transition on the first day. The next couple of sessions were tough. The crux section consistes of a super technical high heel hook, a reach to a decent edge, and then a really hard heel release and foot walk to a move to a jug. The bulk of these sessions were spent struggling to figure out the crux. Eventually, I linked the heel to the jug but it was desperate. The next few sessions progressed well and I was getting to the point of redpoint burns.

On the seventh day of working, I got devastatingly close. I fell past the hardest moves, even when I was feeling good. My left hand sadly just dry fired off the crimp due to numb hands. Also that day, I got many more super close attempts where any of them could have been it. This left me upset but I knew that I could and would do it. I came back determined to send but sadly I felt tired and sore and it was a hot day. This left me discouraged but I just had to change my mindset.

Fun weekend out at rifle. Nice to finally do this one after a couple sessions. Such a cool climb with very hard powerful moves and being a tough power endurance route. Psyched to do some more rifle climbing in the beautiful canyon. Luckily I had the @cruxpowerclimbing sport chalk to keep my hands dry in the humid weather and the @sendclimbing kneebars pads to help me rest up and keep climbing!

One of the best sport routes I’ve ever done. Such interesting movement and an incredible pitch on this crazy beautiful tower at 13,000 feet in mount blue sky! So psyched to have done this. The sun was out and it was too hot so I almost gave up but I got the perfect window or shade to send! Luckily I had the @cruxpowerclimbing chalk to keep me sticking to the wall even in the sun!

Céüse ‘26 🇫🇷☀️⛰️

Oh what a wonderful place. After worlds I got to spend a week in one of the best and most beautiful climbing areas in the world, Céüse. And even better, I got to try probably the best climb in the world. Biographie. It was 100 times better than I expected. The history of this route is insane being the first 5.15 in the world so it was special to not only climb on it but make some good links. I would be so psyched to come back and work it for longer than a week with the hopes of sending. Also that hike was rough and whooped me into shape a bit. There are also so many other amazing climbs at this crag especially some cooked ahh slab 7a+’s. taken in Céüse La Falaise The Cliff by @bayeswilder

Arco Youth Worlds 2026 🇮🇹

Lead p.10
Boulder p.10

Super fun first worlds in such a perfect, beautiful place, Arco, Italy! It was so cool to compete at this high of a level and see how strong everyone else is. It was such a memorable experience and I’m sad for it to already be over. The vibes were so great chilling in the heat all day with friends and watching and doing sick climbs.

I surprised myself by how well I did, especially being a first year U17 but still it stung to be that close for finals in both boulders and lead. It came down to the matter of sticking one more move for both. This makes me even more psyched to come back stronger and more experience next year so I can give it best. I’m happy to be on the US national team this year and hopefully many more and congrats to all my teammates who did amazing as well in this competition. @usaclimbing

Great friends and great vibes at Nationals.

Such a fun year and week in slc. Climbing is the best and huge thanks to @sam.hsin for being an amazing coach. It’s been a huge year of improvement so it’s so cool to see the results and have it pay off. Also it was finally the year of lead climbing after the long wait.

1st place in ropes blew my mind and I’m psyched to have climbed very well after working a ton on execution. I’m stoked for worlds and cant wait to see how strong everyone else across the world is. I just barely snuck in to worlds in 3rd place for boulders luckily too. I didn’t climb my best (my inexperienced ahh, 5+ years of comps, started brushing in transition time and false started twice) but I’m still super happy with how I performed and how I locked in after troubles. Italy is gonna be such a great experience and I’m psyched to see how I can climb.

Nats is so much better with all on my friends there. I only see most of them once a year but we’re so close so it’s really fun. I’m always stoked for the hanging around in nats almost as much as the climbing.

Of course thanks so much to my wonderful sponsors for all the support and gear.

Such a fun day back at Lincoln! Can’t wait to do more days on great climbs with good people. It’s crazy how many hard climbs (a lot of linkups) are on this one rock. I came out mostly to try We Can Build You, which I got really close on, and Evil Backwards, so this one was a nice little bonus to add to the fun day. I couldn’t reach the low feet so it was more like a 12 instead of 11, but a really nice climb nonetheless.

Fun day up at Guanella last weekend. Surprisingly kinda sketchy hiking up the snow covered talus field. Sick climbing and did two great ones Carnage and Dark Horse Sit. Psyched to do some more outdoor bouldering up in RMNP and other places this summer and the upcoming season.

Carnage V13 (soft)
Dark Horse V11 (too many times pulling on the sharp right hand crimp)

Wow. Such a dream line. I’m so psyched to have sent to mega climb! Since first going to the red when I was nine I’ve dreamed of doing this one, or even just getting on it. It has an iconic move that could make people travel just to see it. And I got to send it! The trip this year was really crazy. I did my goals, even with not the best condis, and had so much fun.

It’s insane to think that when I was trying it, a few days before I sent, it was icy and freezing cold. I even had to wear pants climbing which I basically never do for routes. Then it got so hot. It went from numbing out and falling to sweating off and falling.

It was also such a clutch send which make it even more unreal. Last day of the trip, last light of the trip. I tried to go in the morning but it was super humid so I chilled during the day, debating whether I should try it in the evening. I wasn’t even sure when I was back at the crag but I decided it was worth a try. I had to use my mini fan to clip onto my harness so I could cool off my hands while I climbed. It worked really well, surprisingly, and got me to the top. This is probably my favorite climb in the red, (maybe even everywhere) and one of my proudest sends off all time!

Time to hop on the indoor grind now! (Well first I gotta finish up mind to motion)
