On 12/30 at 12:17am, I was rushed into another emergency surgery. Surgery #3 followed by another 4 days in the ICU. But today I was discharged! And now I am back recovering with my mama.

3 vet and ER visits with repeated tests/imaging, where my mom was told "Baylor is fine. All of the X-rays, ultrasounds, and bloodwork are normal."

1 Visit to Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, at 10pm after I was at my PCP all day where my mom was told "No need to take Baylor there, they're very expensive and I'm not worried. He is fine."

1 string found attached from my stomach to small intestine.

2 major surgeries.

48 hours I spent in sepsis after the first surgery (2nd video), because there were missed perforations in my small intestine, and I was leaking bile. My moma saw me and pleaded to the vet "something is wrong!"

2 days with pneunmia and in critical condition after the second surgery.

3 days after the pneumonia cleared, I still had trouble breathing. The vets didn't know why.

38,000 dollars my moma spent on vet bills. (She will get some reimbursed by insurance, she learned her lesson after the tennis ball incident).

8 days total in the ICU

6 amazing vets that took care of me 24/7, and ultimately saved my life. Thank you!!! 🤗

Friday was my 5th birthday! And to celebrate I inhaled a tennis ball and then had to get my belly cut open by a very nice vet at 4:00am. It was painful, and I was sad, but I regret nothing. I love tennis balls. by @baylorboy314
