Shakedown trip to make sure the motor was running good and everything checked out perfect. Made one stop and caught 7 cobias in a hour then headed back in. We are back up and running! One last test run tomorrow and we will be back to our regularly scheduled program for the rest of the summer. We have a few dates left in August and September and are booking wreck trips through October. Give us a shout to come ride in this awesome boat! Bad luck always hits us at the wrong time. We are going to be down for a week or two while we get the cylinder head redone after burning a valve. After this she should be good as new. We have days available in August and September if you’re looking to book a trip and help pay this off! lol. Every year around Angela and I anniversary I take out a few Hooked on Hope families in her memory since she loved this organization so much. Unfortunately this year we had bad weather and had to reschedule then the family who was supposed to fish the reschedule had a medical emergency. Luckily I was able to take out a family who volunteers a lot of their time to Hooked on Hope. We had a short window before the storms came in and ran across this pretty 52 inch cobia to get the young man his first cobia citation release. We catch BIG fish! Here’s a few of the 60 plus inch fish we have caught over the past few years. We have a few dates left this summer and a couple of spots left on our kids camps! Give us a call to get on the water this summer! by @bayroamercharters

Shakedown trip after some upgrades and maintenance was a success. Boat ran flawless as usual. Started our season off with a bang, right out the gate Ava set the boat record with a beautiful 63 inch Cobia. We snapped a few pics and back in the water she went to keep those genetics alive. Ended up boating 9 in a few hours and saw upwards of 30 fish. Looks like we are going to have a great season. All about Tight Lines for Tiny Fighters -
6 years ago, I was blessed the opportunity to fish as a volunteer for @hookedonhopevb - and from that point on I knew I was passionate about the truth; the truth of each families story. The long nights in the hospital, the financial burdens, emotional burdens, the lack of individualized attention, mom and dad’s lack of alone time, AND everything in-between. The past 6 years have been spent growing relationships in and around the fishing community- truly the biggest blessing (and only reason this project was such a success). As a Senior in the Legal Studies Academy at First Colonial High School, I was given the opportunity to research, learn, and share my passion through my “Senior Project,” and this is how TLFTF was born 🫶

2025 couldn’t have had a better turnout, over 20 team registrations, many fish weighed, $4,000 raised, TONS of memories made, amazing sponsors and donations that made the this tournament such a success. SO, of course I had to bring it back for 2026 and this year I have BIG goals, because I know we’re capable of it (yes, y’all!!!! You’re the reason this is so success). I want to DOUBLE our numbers - $8,000 raised, and 40 team entries… A LOT, I know… but this cause is worth the effort. So, share with your friends, share with your family, share with your local business owners, because registration is open!!
