I once heard “you’re calling is the very thing you struggled with.” Not really sure if that’s how it actually works but it suddenly made sense for me.I’ve seen this generation of mothers hating on the phrase “it takes a village to raise a child” and *hot take incoming* I think it’s because they’re struggling without it… and it’s easier to bash it and convince yourself you don’t need it than it is to feel sad about not having it and not knowing where to find this village they speak of.My passion is community in motherhood and I want to help you find your’s. It’s quite possible that my 30th was the best birthday I’ve ever had, and I’m still on cloud 9! I spent the day of my birthday treated by my hubby to a spa day / whole day to myself and then a birthday dinner with family. Then the next night it was a full blown Nashville sushi crawl party with some of my best friends!Stop #1. @twotenjack - where I was surprised with more flowers and birthday balloons and we got apps and my favorite cocktail in Nashville (the No. 2)Stop # 2. @okunashville - one of my all time favorite sushi restaurants. Where we were treated so incredibly by the whole staff! And the sushi was 10/10.Stop #3. We finished the sushi crawl trying a new spot in Nashville called @therealsushisan - where my drink came in a Chinese to go box and we got more sushi and other shareable. Stop #4. We ended the night bowling at @pinewoodnashville where my favorite people surprised me with a birthday cake and sang their hearts out to me 😂🥰 by @bayrooney

They’re saying that 2026 is the new 2016… Which was lots of adventure and lots of coffee shops for me ☕️ Honestly I’m really loving seeing everyone’s throwback pics with this trend and had to go back to see what some of one looked like 🖤 by @bayrooney
