Join us for Bay Scholars’ 13th Annual Giving Thanks by Giving Back Luncheon on Friday, November 20 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco!

This year’s luncheon is especially meaningful as we honor the legacy of our founder, Clint Reilly, whose vision and dedication to educational opportunity have opened doors for hundreds of Bay Scholars.

We are also honored to welcome James B. Milliken, President of the University of California, for a special conversation on education and opportunity alongside Janet Reilly.

As we celebrate the lasting impact of Clint’s leadership, we look ahead with a continued commitment to expanding educational opportunities and empowering even more students to reach their full potential.

Our Bay Scholars spent the day exploring careers in finance, beginning at Flagstar Private Bank, where they learned about private banking and career paths within the industry.

Next, Scholars visited @morgan.stanley to learn about wealth management, financial advising, and the Financial Advisor Associate Program.

Experiences like these allow our Scholars to explore new industries, connect with professionals, and see what’s possible for their futures.

Thank you to Flagstar Private Bank and the Rocha Team at Morgan Stanley for investing your time in our Scholars and helping us open doors of opportunity!

The Bay Scholars community mourns the loss of Dennis O’Brien, one of our most generous and steadfast supporters.

Dennis lived a life grounded in family, faith, friendship, and service. A lifelong Catholic, he believed deeply in giving back and was especially committed to causes that opened doors for young people through education.

We are profoundly grateful that Bay Scholars was among the organizations Dennis chose to champion throughout his life—and deeply honored that his family has designated Bay Scholars for memorial gifts.

Dennis’s generosity will continue to create opportunity for Bay Area students for years to come. We extend our love and deepest condolences to Gloria, Susie, Chris, and the entire O’Brien family. His legacy will live on through the many lives he touched. by @bayscholars

Our Bay Scholars had the incredible opportunity to tour Pixar Animation Studios and get a firsthand look at how creativity, storytelling, art, and technology come together to bring animated films to life.

A highlight of the day was touring with a lead storyboard artist working on Incredibles 3 and learning about the creative process behind Pixar’s films!

Thank you Pixar for welcoming our scholars and providing such an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait for more exciting opportunities for our Bay Scholars this year!
