Mindy Stroh has completed her impactful term as the Bay Village Foundation’s president, having served in this role since 2021. She started volunteering for the Foundation in 2013 on the Fireworks committee, and she became a trustee in 2015. She was instrumental in fundraising for the new Village Green, refurbishing Play in Bay, and updating 11 guard booths around the city, and her vision and leadership helped increase the Foundation’s visibility through social media, branding, a new website, Bay Days t-shirts, and donor stewardship. Sean O’Reilly has big shoes to fill as his term begins as president. Thank you for all your hard work, Mindy! by @bayvillagefoundation

We are proud to support @villageproject, having provided a grant to fund a new canopy tent and outdoor signage for this nonprofit that helps provide nourishing meals and extended support to families fighting cancer. “We’re incredibly grateful to The Bay Village Foundation for the grant support and for fostering an ongoing relationship within the Bay Village community,” Heather Mohler said. Thanks to a grant from the Bay Village Foundation, the Youth Challenge Mini Camp brought kids ages 4-10 together for crafts, games, and play at Bay Village’s Play in Bay Park. YC empowers youth with physical disabilities through adaptive sports, recreation, and social activities, and with the help of 300 teen volunteers, the organization continues to foster community and inspiration for nearly 150 young participants! by @bayvillagefoundation

The BAYarts sensory garden, supported by a Bay Village Foundation grant in part, will include vibrant blooms, textured foliage, soothing sounds, tactile surfaces, and aromatic plants to engage every sense — while also being fully accessible with pathways, raised beds, and interactive features designed to accommodate diverse needs. "Our mission at BAYarts is to cultivate a welcoming and inclusive oasis where the beauty of nature is observed, felt, heard, and savored by everyone, regardless of their abilities,” Associate Director Beth Milli shared. “We are committed to creating an environment that engages and delights the senses, fostering a deep connection between individuals and the natural world.” @bayarts_ohio

We provided a grant for Lake Erie Nature & Science Center’s Wildlife Gardens Education and Renovation Project, which will transform the outdoor area where birds are housed to create more engaging learning experiences about native animals and raise visibility of the wildlife rehabilitation program. We are excited to see this project completed this summer; pictured here is the Center’s bald eagle, which will have a feature exhibit in the new Wildlife Gardens! by @bayvillagefoundation
