didn’t find the cullens on the coast of Washington but I did find a forest full of spiders, some breathtaking beaches, & a cabin in the woods that I was only a tiny bit afraid to sleep in at night ! taken in Olympic National Forest by @bayy77

What a special group show to be apart of, in such a special city, at our most special home, @ca_sa_lu 🐛

my piece, “A Place Just for Us” (acrylic on linen), is an exploration into an alternate universe where my past and present selves take their own physical forms. they form a kind of romantic relationship in which they learn to accept each other fully, meeting in a moment of recognition, where they might feel one another before letting go.

the creation of this piece was both therapeutic and explorative as I allowed my emotions to guide me in color choice, brush stroke, and form. as the painting came together, so did these versions of myself—uniting to create something that feels undeniably me. taken in Mexico City, Mexico by @bayy77
