Everything starts with the basics. When a player pivots and squares up to the hoop, their shooting hand needs to be under the ball and ready to go.

We use the @formbasketballtrainer to make sure of that. Instead of just telling them where their hand should be, they can actually feel it lock into the right spot as they square up.

When we work with players on their shot, hand position is one of the first things we want them to understand.

The @formbasketballtrainer helps us teach that because players can actually feel where their hand should be on the basketball instead of just being told where to put it.

When we talk about shooting hand position with our players, one of the things we want them to understand is getting the shooting hand to the south pole of the basketball.

The @formbasketballtrainer makes that concept much easier to teach because the player can actually feel where their hand needs to be.

It is one thing to tell a player where their hand should go. It is another thing for them to have a physical reference that helps them find that position themselves.
That is why we have continued to use the FORM Trainer with our players.

A lot of shooting instruction is about telling players where their “shooting gun” should be. The challenge is getting them to actually understand that position.

That is where we have found the @formbasketballtrainer to be really helpful.

The shape gives our players a physical reference for where the shooting hand should sit on the basketball.
Coach Behn swears by the FORM, and has used it for 5+ years.
