One month married to you…
We have both agreed the one word to describe the last month has been magical. Between our wedding, the most amazing & magical honeymoon to closing on our loan this week to build our forever home 💛 I don’t think either one of us could ask for a more amazing start. 12 months - Where has the time gone? 🤍

This past year has been the most beautiful in so many ways and, at times, the most challenging (learning how to balance everything on my plate)—but without a doubt, it has been the very best year of my life.

Watching you grow into the precious little girl you are has been the greatest gift. You are the silliest, sweetest, most beautiful little soul, and every single day you bring more joy than I ever thought possible.

Part of me wishes I could go back and relive this first year all over again, but this time through the lens of everything I know now. At the same time, I can’t wait to see all that this next year holds—to watch you learn, explore, laugh, and continue becoming exactly who you’re meant to be.

I could not have asked for a more special little girl to make me a mama. That will always be the greatest honor of my life.

11 Months 🤍

A couple weeks late… because life has a funny way of getting away from me these days.

Sweet girl, you continue to amaze us every single day. This past month has been such a big one. Watching you confidently pull yourself up, stand on your own, and cruise along the couch has been incredible. I can hardly believe walking is just around the corner.

You’ve also become so independent—content to play, explore, and venture a few feet away from Mommy. Watching your little personality grow has been one of my greatest joys.

But months later, my favorite part of every single day is still the same: your smile every morning. No matter how rough the night was, it all melts away the moment I see your big, happy grin. It’s the sweetest reminder that these days, while exhausting at times, are the greatest gift.

Eleven months of loving you. Eleven months of watching you grow. Eleven months of being your mommy—and I still can’t believe how lucky I am.

Happy 10 Months, sweet Lily girl 💕 (a little late)

Every day I think there’s no way I could possibly love you more than I do today, and every day you prove me wrong.

My sweet, sweet bean, I will say it again, but you are my greatest gift. I prayed for you for so long and I could not love you more. Every day, I feel incredibly grateful that you are ours. I look forward for what’s to come, but I also want it all to slow down (like a lot).

Happy 8 Months little girl 💕 (a few days late)
You are single handedly the best thing that has happened to me! The toughest of days/nights are 1,000% worth it with each and every smile (which you do a lot). Your dad and I love you beyond words and are so incredibly proud of all your accomplishments thus far! I love to watch you every day learn and discover something new - it’s my favorite thing to do! I feel incredibly blessed to call you Mom. As I’ve become a mother, I hope I can be for Lily all that you have been for me. How do I have a 6 month old already?!
Lily Meriwether, you are the best thing to have ever happened to me. You are our little miracle. Watching you discover the world (and your toes) with pure fascination is my favorite thing to watch. Listening to you squeal, sing and talk is my favorite thing to hear. Your sweet smile make any tough moments/days better. You truly are my greatest gift.
I look forward to continuing to watch you discover all the new things in this world and grow into the special girl that you already are!
