I’ve never met a small or manageable desire
Oil on canvas
.
.
First large work with this many figures, first large work where I painted a sandwich. I’ve been battling feeling unproductive in my painting practice as if showing up for myself in small ways needs to produce.
I’ve grown into small spaces of play and patience. I’m letting go of grinding my teeth to unclench my jaw and release my fist. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @bbboots
