It’s a rare day when an “Instagram famous” spot is actually as good as it looks, but my meal at The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker in West Hollywood, Los Angeles is honestly one of the best brunches I’ve ever had! You’ve gotta order the stunning Colorburst Latte, Bananas Foster French Toast, and Spicy Truffle Chicken Sandwich. For a boozy brunch option, BBCM has an insanely good Bloody Mary which is topped with a whole grilled cheese! This is the perfect spot for a special Mother’s Day brunch, so snag a reservation ASAP. Sometimes, in the middle of life’s chaos, all you need is a cozy corner, a cup of coffee, a good book, and a little time to reconnect with yourself.

One of the most beautiful lessons I’ve learned from The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins is that life doesn’t always have to go the way we want it to, and neither do people.

Let people be who they choose to be. Let them walk their own paths, think their own thoughts, and make their own decisions.

We are not responsible for other people’s choices, behaviors, or opinions. But we are responsible for protecting our own peace.

I believe one of the greatest signs of personal growth is realizing that you don’t have to convince everyone, prove your worth to anyone, or fight to keep every relationship alive.

Sometimes, letting people go doesn’t mean losing them. It means finding yourself again.

And maybe the most beautiful chapter of life begins when we stop trying to change others and start focusing on ourselves.

On the things we love.
On the people who bring love into our lives.
On the little moments that make us genuinely happy.

Life is too short to spend our energy and peace of mind on things we cannot control.

Let them be who they are. And give yourself permission to become who you truly want to be. 🤎

If you’re looking for a brunch spot in West Hollywood, consider this your sign to get hungry. 😋 The Butcher, the Baker, the Cappuccino Maker brought the goods—from beautiful cappuccino art and matcha to a Bloody Mary, a hearty breakfast, and a short rib Benedict that definitely didn’t come to play.

And then there’s that lemon ricotta pancake, served hot in a cast-iron skillet. Fluffy, rich, ridiculously good… basically the kind of pancake that makes sharing feel like a terrible idea. 🥞🤣
