Our youngest learners enjoyed a day of discovery at the @biosphaere_potsdam, exploring the fascinating world of plants, animals and habitats.

From meeting turtles, butterflies, leaf-cutter ants and chameleons to enjoying a picnic and playtime at Volkspark, the day was filled with curiosity, exploration and fun in nature. 🌿🦋

The final week of school was filled with celebration as we marked two important milestones in our students' learning journeys.

Congratulations to our Grade 5 students on completing the IB Primary Years Programme and to our Grade 10 students on completing the IB Middle Years Programme.

We are proud of all they have achieved and look forward to seeing them embrace the next chapter in the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.

After the summer break, our Grade 5 students will begin an exciting new chapter as they move into Secondary School.

At our Grade 6 Open House, they had the opportunity to experience life in Secondary by following a timetable, exploring different classrooms, meeting Secondary teachers and students, and taking part in engaging subject activities.

It was wonderful to see their curiosity, confidence and enthusiasm as they prepared for this important next step.

We look forward to welcoming them to Secondary School in the new academic year.

Congratulations to our Grade 11 students on their fantastic achievement in the Wharton Investment Competition.

Over the past several months, they have shown outstanding dedication, teamwork and resilience, competing against teams from around the world and earning a place in the semifinals. Back at BBIS. 💙

It was a pleasure to welcome members of the Class of 2006 back to our campus last weekend.

As one of the cohorts to experience BBIS's move from Potsdam to Kleinmachnow, they remember the campus in its early days, long before many of the spaces and facilities we know today had taken shape. Back then, their graduating class numbered just 28 students. This year, we celebrated 114 graduates - a reflection of how much our school community has grown over the years.

Their reunion was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share memories and see how far BBIS has come.

Thank you for coming back to BBIS and for being such an important part of our story.

From friendly competition to creative challenges, our students rounded off the school year with plenty of energy and team spirit.

Our Primary students enjoyed a day of sport, teamwork and friendly competition, cheering one another on and giving every challenge their best.

Meanwhile, our Secondary students took on the Taskmaster Olympics, tackling creative challenges with teamwork, ingenuity and plenty of laughter.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers and supporters for making these memorable days possible. It was a wonderful celebration of our community and a joyful end to the school year.

It was a pleasure to welcome back alumnus Frank, who was part of the BBIS community until 2014.

Before heading off for the summer, our boarders made the most of their time together with a game of Capture the Flag, stand-up paddleboarding on the Wannsee and a visit to the Steglitzer Festival.

These shared experiences are a special part of boarding life, creating lasting memories, strengthening friendships and bringing our community together.
