We had a busy two days! Two late night freezing cold 🥶 softball games on Friday and more softball on Saturday then we all got to enjoy Joplin’s early birthday present from Nanny at the Elevation concert! 6 softball games for our little Lady Panthers (Choog played 4 we had to head to the concert.) and they played awesome for their first travel tournament. They went up against some big time teams like one ranked 3rd in the entire state and did not back down. My favorite thing in the world is watching my girls and the Lady Panthers compete and the concert way exceeded my expectations and was so good! Now it’s nap time. 🥎🎸✝️ by @bbpearcy

Joplin June’s Freshman year of fast-pitch didn’t look like the one any of us had envisioned. Being injured doesn’t just break you down physically it crushes you mentally as well. It causes an identity crisis. On the outside she held it together with grace but there were a couple nights I saw the tears flow and I’m sure there were more I missed. I never got to witness her take the field as a Freshman but I did see a spark and new passion for photography flow from her. She has the eye for it and that’s the true marking of a gifted photographer. You can put a $30,000 camera in someone’s hand that doesn’t have an eye for it and a 1/2 off Canon camera bought 6+ years ago during Black Friday and now with a broken automatic zoom to someone who does have it and they’ll blow that $30,000 camera out of the water. I don’t say this because I’m her mom I say it as someone who has always loved photography who looks at her pictures and immediately sees the story being told with my jaw dropped and some have even made me laugh and cry.

Joplin, me and your dad are incredibly proud of you. There’s no stats for you this season, those are coming. What there is of you are thousands of pictures that you have boosted morale with, kept everyone excitedly waiting for the next SD card to be gone through by you, and so many special memories that will last a lifetime through your gift. I’ve never seen so many softball posts made by your teammates, their families, and this community ever before. You’ve been the best teammate and hype woman there could ever be! When you felt like you lost your purpose/identity on the team God led you to another one, He wasn’t going to waste a second letting your light dim. You were just as needed this season as you will be the ones to come. I watched you grow in so many unique ways that only this type of season could bring about. You’re going to come back physically stronger and mentally too because of this journey and I’m thankful I get to be your mom watching in the stands. by @bbpearcy

Joppy graduated Physical Therapy today! We are both excited but sad too because we love and are so thankful for Sherri and everyone at @yukonwoundcarerehab They’ve really become like family to us over the last several months. You can’t find a better place for PT than here. We love you all! by @bbpearcy

A very unaesthetic tour of our Halloween decor (so far 😅).
