Two weeks of being called Ms.Pizarro again ✏️📝
Year 8 in CPS, Year 9 being an educator 🩵
Thank you everyone for supporting my classroom and me as I transitioned back to middle school!
Meeting and learning more about my students I realize that this is where I’m meant to be.
I hope to continue to be a safe space for them and support them as they grow academically and socially!

A weekend full of laughter, yoga, rest, empathy, vulnerability, and wholesomeness is exactly what I needed. 🩵
I was unsure what to expect for this retreat, and it turned out to be the most inspiring and recharging experience I ever needed.
I am thankful to @groovechi for setting a safe space for us to bond.
I am especially grateful for the kind souls I met here! 🥺
Not only did I feel heard and seen, I felt less alone after meeting everyone!
It felt so good to see that we are fighting the lucha together within our own communities.🫶🏽

I completed one year working at City Colleges of Chicago ♥️
This year I’ve been able to support and work with adult students during their GED program(math in English & Spanish), Bridge program, and ESL proficiency! It’s been a fun ride and excited to continue another year ahead 🥺
I’m grateful to have students who are so patient with themselves as they study. Thanks CCC for this welcoming year, I no longer feel like the newbie 😌 by @bbyzillaaa_
