Today my dad would have been 77 years old. I've been looking at this picture a lot lately and laughing... My "big" little brother (because he got the height😅) and his wife, are expecting their first later this year. He looks exactly like our dad right here, and I can't wait for him to recreate this picture and be able to look at it side by side:) by @bcb300

A black belt wasn't the plan, but it was the result. A ton of people have given me things since the start...perspective, encouragement, techniques. Open mat was 💣 today...eight of us at different levels, all trying to get better. Even though I'm nowhere near 100% I had enough to be able to rap all the lyrics while rolling😅 (@swlivinlegend playlist was on point). Open mat Saturdays 10-12 @renzograciemissouricity by @bcb300

"Don't do it like me, do it right" is something I say constantly. Im always thankful when someone tells me that my details or perspective helps them, because I feel like 90% of the time my jiujitsu is fundamentally wrong😅 I'm always coaching from the point of why I couldn't do a technique well, because then I focus on that one thing that makes it work (called the "why Booker couldn't do this" part of the lesson).
