I cried making this 🥹 40 years later and they’re all still here… what a blessing!! God is so good to us!!

Quick backstory: anyone who knows my family knows this wasn’t an easy goal but my Uncle @9thbyrd was determined to make it happen! Some convincing conversations had to happen, it took a lot of calls and text messages but he made it happen and I’m beyond thankful!! This was a dream come true for me, seriously.

I can’t believe our Layla is FIVE!! 😭🎂💕

The baby of the grands… and if we’re being real, probably the family favorite. 😂 And I can say that because I’m the FIRST grandbaby, so I’ve had plenty of time to accept my replacement. 😭😂

This lil girl has the BIGGEST personality. She’s funny, she’s smart, and whatever she’s thinking… trust me, you’re gonna know about it. 😂 There is absolutely NO filter and I love every bit of her!

So for her 5th birthday, we didn’t need a bunch of posing… we just let Layla be Layla and babyyyy, the personality did the REST. 📸😂💕

One thing about me… I’ma find a way to make it happen 😂📸

I actually LOVE doing newborn sessions in my clients’ homes because everybody is so much more relaxed. Baby is home, dad can chill, siblings can do their thing… and most importantly, MAMA doesn’t have to be doing all that moving around anyway! 😭👏🏾

I bring the setup, lighting, props and everything we need. Y’all just bring me the baby. 😂🤍

And the best part? Looking at the finished pictures, you would NEVER know we set all this up right at home. 😮‍💨📸

I swear I make me a new lil best friend at almost EVERY shoot

Parents be all worried about the kids smiling, sitting still and cooperating… meanwhile me and the kids done became homies 15 mins in

ATP I need to start doing a photo pickin ** pizza party** so they can pick their favorite pictures together and we can chill lol!

Kids don’t need to be perfect for me to get the shot… let ’em be kids. I got the rest.
