Pa came home from Manila in May to spend the summer surrounded by family and friends. But while he was here enjoying his time with us, he was also quietly busy doing what brings him the greatest joy…filling 120lb boxes that would eventually make their way back to Manila.

These boxes are filled with love❤️

They contain generous donations from family and friends, along with treasures he finds at thrift stores and anything he believes can bring comfort, dignity, or happiness to someone who needs it.

This has always been my Dad’s heart and his mission. But now, in his golden years, his desire to help as many people as possible has become even more meaningful. He doesn’t do this for recognition or praise. He simply sees a need and asks, “How can I help?”

Each box costs $110 to ship overseas, and in the 5 months since he returned home, he has already sent 12 boxes to Manila.

And he’s not finished….

On September 30, Ma & Pa will be bringing 4 more boxes, a total of 1,640 lbs of love back to Manila with them.

16 boxes may just look like numbers and weight on a shipping receipt, but to us, they represent something so much greater: generosity, compassion, purpose, and a lifetime of Pa showing us what it truly means to give. His hands may be getting older, but his heart has never been bigger. This is his legacy. One box at a time 📦📦 taken in Coquitlam, British Columbia by @bcjoseph

I think Tricia had to be lured into doing this photoshoot by her sister but she rose to the occasion and dare I say even liked it. 🤩 It was so comfortable to be around her and we had so many giggles.
