For the past six years, Charmant Studios has been a place where artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives have come to create, connect, and grow. Now, it’s time for our next chapter.

We’re opening a new home on Historic Black Wall Street in Downtown Durham, and today we’re officially launching our We’re Coming Home fundraising campaign.

After six years of building Charmant Studios, we’re excited to announce that we’re opening a new home in Downtown Durham’s Historic Black Wall Street.

As two Black women and Durham natives, this is a full-circle moment for us. We’re honored to continue investing in the city that shaped us by creating a space where creatives can create, grow, and connect.

This isn’t just a studio. It’s an artist and creative development studio offering production services, education, and community events.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be sharing the journey as we transform this space into a home for Durham’s creative community.

Day 1 in Antigua, Guatemala was so lovely, and spending it with my good Judy @lexxtheepony made it even better. ✨

As soon as we landed, Moses picked us up for a private transfer (via Viator) and it was a safe one-hour ride to Antigua. After checking into our Airbnb, we headed to La Casa de Marc. Hidden behind a small house, the backyard and scenery were beautiful, and the food was so good we ordered 4 plates. Everything was so fresh.

After some friend time, we headed to the rooftop at Aqua Antigua. The tacos and lobster mac and cheese were so good, but we definitely entered a food coma, so no nightlife for us on night one while we waited for Mistyre (@vibecomposer) to arrive later that evening.
