I’ll never forget the feeling of performing. There’s truly nothing else like it. ❤️

Ten years ago, at 32 years old, I retired from dancing professionally after 15 unforgettable, life changing years. It feels like it all happened in another lifetime, yet the memories are still so vivid!

Not a day goes by that I don’t miss it. The stage, the music, the adrenaline, the connection. It was never just my career; it was a part of who I am.

A piece of my heart will always belong to dance. ♥️ taken in Portland, Oregon by @bdancer02

My time in Southern Africa was unlike any other experience I’ve ever had! Let me start off by saying I was incredibly nervous to visit given how allegedly dangerous everyone says that it is. I honestly feel more scared in the US, than I have in any other of the hundred countries that’s I’ve visited, all over the world, and I’ve touched 6 of the 7 continents! Says a lot!

There wasn’t a single time I felt scared for my life or remotely nervous. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, informative, kind hearted, and not because of tourism, but because they are so proud of their country! I wish I was.

I know Toto’s song says “I’ve blessed the rain down in Africa” but I’m truly the blessed one, and beyond privileged to get to hold this experience in my heart forever, and with my 🍯 🐰 @sk8joe13 ♥️ #9yrweddinganniversary

1st off, the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, WA is tiny AF, and I mean that in the best way possible! We just experienced GaGa in such a personal and up-close way, it still doesn’t feel real to me!

When I tell you that @ladygaga sang, she SAAAAAAANG! How does she sound better after almost 20 years later!

Her energy is captivating on TV, so in person, it was simply 🤯 She’s absolutely STUNNING!

The audience was amazing! The roar is still deafening! In the best way possible!

I still feel awe struck, like I’ve seen Michael Jackson! I will never forget this evening!

What it must feel like for a professional dancer to perform alongside such a pro is a dream come true for those dancers! What an absolute honor!

Always & Forever,
