the reception part 1: what your mom sees

Grateful for amazing friends, especially Jess and Russ who made us both laugh and cry with the most heartfelt speeches.

Grateful for our other close friends who flew around the world to look fabulous, eat great cheese, and basque in the warm Tuscan weather.

Even more thankful for our Families, who have supported us no matter what crazy ideas we have — from getting engaged at 5 months, to getting married in less than a year, then to having a massive party in Italy — you’ve loved us and let us do it all. We love you.

the reception part 2: the reason you’re hungover

So many moments I will cherish forever.

Making our own Italian wedding cake.
Surprising Connor with fireworks.
Crying during the mother / son dance.
Crying during the father / daughter dance.
A champagne tower none of us could finish.
Surprising everyone with our choreographed first dance.
Surprising mom with her own vintage wedding dress, remade into a reception dress.
Kelsey surprising us in a shark inflatable suit.
Holding all of our friends while we danced like crazy.
Everyone trying to keep @big_condor ‘s clothes on.
Our amazing DJ / Sax duo keeping us all up well past midnight.

& never leaving @big_condor ‘s side through all of it.

Still feels like a dream…

Diving every day in the Maldives was unreal. Every time we went down to 30m I was in awe. We had the most amazing dive guides and crew; really couldn’t have asked for a more incredible experience for our first liveaboard and dives in the Central Atolls.

So many more recaps coming — but after 24 hours flying I can’t help but wish I was back underwater already.

it was a beautiful few years in Washington.

we didn’t get to do nearly as much as we wanted; the Army has a way of taking you to the most beautiful places with little to no time to do the fun stuff.

but we both learned a lot about ourselves and what we want out of our careers. we found the time to do some amazing trips. we’re so grateful for our time on the west coast.

and best of all @lightandarmourphotography is moving with us back to North Carolina 🫶🏼
