To Seek And Follow the Call of Lions by @uponstone

Big thanks to @instinct.decay for help with a couple riffs

another really dope, modern melodic death metal band. I really like the way they use their at the gate influence. Riff and solos are always on point for this band. I’m really excited to see what they’re cooking up. I hope they come through Texas sometime soon.

Ghost of Perdition by OPETH

this song really got me into progressive death metal. I don’t understand how you can hate on path. They just be making cool songs. It’s really not that deep. This did help me Discover a lot of early path, which is very influential for me for Melodeath. Overall give me a deeper appreciation of heavier music. by @bdm.peter

This Vale of Tears by @wealdandwoe

This Melody has had a chokehold on me for a good while now, I knew I wanted to cover it. Yall please go check these guys out. Impressive musicians, and very entertaining music. I really enjoy their castle metal theme. Because their music completely embodies that. And if you’re a big fan of complex, songwriting, and devastating melodies, then they are definitely for you.

DARKDAY BY THE ALMIGHTY EDGE OF SANITY!!!!
.
This song is slowly creeping into my top 10 favorite songs of all time. Genuinely from the first time I heard that opening riff I’ve been hooked on this song and it really motivated me to explore the bands discography. Edge of sanity is an amazing band if you love the juxtaposition of sorrowful, melodic riffs with humming thrashy death metal. Truly, one of Sweden’s greatest death, metal bands if you haven’t given them the time of day you absolutely should. The spectral sorrow is a fantastic album, if you want something more melodic than purgatory after glow is up your alley. If you want something a little more raw, their first two albums are fantastic for that.

DEEDS OF FUCKING FLESH!!!!
Erik was a one of a kind riff master, the riffs on Path are fucking tricky.
I told y’all this cover was coming, finally got settled into the new place so more content is on its way. I’ve been feeling Dying Fetus lately so y’all will probably get some of that👁️👁️
