Auntie life has been absolutely everything and more than everyone told me it was going to be; thank you @cdobish and @anotherguido 🫂❤️ by @bdobish
This year taking you to a 20 year anniversary tour was one of the most reconnecting soul driven things I didn’t even know I needed. I try to write how incredible I think you are and our years of friendship. I ain’t the best at it. You have always cheered on my absolute insanity and have never swayed away from me even when we have disagreed. There is no one like you, no one that will ever be like you. I have been given a god-blessed complete goober of a friend for two whole decades. I chose you out of all of the kids in class, and I will still choose you. Happy birthday to my best pal. by @bdobish
My love and I from @cdobish’s wedding. We clean up great don’t we? ❤️🥹 by @bdobish
“We met it seems Such a short time ago You looked at me Needing me so Yet from your sadness Our happiness grew And I found out I needed you too! I remember how we used to play Ah ha ha ha! I recall those rainy days The fire’s glow that kept us warm And now I find we’re both alone Goodbye may seem forever Farewell is like the end But in my heart’s a memory And there you’ll always be.” Last night, the first lady I ever raised, Moe took her last breath after an afternoon resting in my father’s lap. I found her in a doorway, thought she was a dead mouse for how young she was. I found her abandoned while I was living in Little Italy. My family and I bottle fed her, somehow she survived and lived for 14 years. We buried her as a family in the back yard under a purple mum that will return each year. Anyone who ever speaks of her, thought she was the most wonderful cat ever. Her fur the softest I’ve ever felt out of any of my cats. She carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life; I know her energy will still carry me through this next phase. Goodbye my love; thank you. I’m glad I was the first thing you saw when you finally opened your eyes. by @bdobish
Just hopping on here to say; my momma is amazing. Women are amazing and need to be protected. ❤️ by @bdobish
4 years ago I visited Salem; learned more about myself on a couple weeks adventure from the east coast to the Irish Sea. If only 4 years ago could see this October version of me, I would tell her the best is yet to come. by @bdobish
It was another beautiful summer 🥹💓 congrats Brandon and Rhi 💓 by @bdobish
I love sharing joy I didn’t have my mics or anything to make this pristine, just wanted to post a raw and happy moment for me as a filmmaker. Post-production is going great and the little historian in me is just over the moon. Thank you to all who have donated to make this happen #discovery #filmmaking #archival #raw #restoration by @bdobish
A drop for the feed. Just because it’s rainy and I’m feeling a lot of moods 🤣 idk what to post anymore on this account anyways personally so here’s some of my camera roll. by @bdobish
WE MADE IT!!! Our $20,000 post-production goal is officially COMPLETE! This has been an incredible amount of work, and I’ve learned SO much along the way. I’m grateful to every single person who donated, shared, encouraged, and showed up to make this possible. And a HUGE thank you to our incredible anonymous donor who made the 2-to-1 match possible. Your generosity helped push us across the finish line! Thank you to every one our sponsors including @am250ohio and @starkcommfdn. There were definitely days when I questioned what to pivot to next, but watching people show up at exactly the right moments was unbelievable. The support has been nothing short of amazing. These funds are going to make the finished product SO much better, and I cannot wait to show you the finished film! WE DID IT. THANK YOU!! #WeMadeIt #fundraiser #PostProduction #documentary #Filmmaking by @bdobish
It’s always fun bringing history to life. Behind the scenes on Recede: The Story of the St. Helena II, directed by @bdobish Dobish, capturing a beautifully crafted 1933 miniature of the historic canal boat using probe lenses to create a larger-than-life perspective. #documentary #behindthescenes #filmmaking #miniatures #probelens #cinematography #independentfilm by @bdobish
Local stories matter because they are the very fabric that holds a community together. Whether we admit it or not, we all need them. Have you checked out our episode on @7MinuteStories yet with @aaronccalafato ?! You can check it out in our link in bio! We’re in crunch time! We’ve reached 42% of our fundraising goal, and we’ve already seen a huge boost just from people sharing our campaign. Our campaign ends this Friday! We’ve written grants and sent out sponsorship letters, but we still need your help. By supporting our post-production campaign, you’re doing more than helping finish a film—you’re showing that preserving our local history and stories matters. If you were considering donating already, the time is now 🙏 You can donate also through our link in bio!
